Just got this bad boy last night so I wanted to try it out. It’s the HERO2 HD with the suction cup. The video is kind of repetitive, but having never used it before I wanted to see what things look like. I really need to get an external mic. The sound is terrible! This was shot in 1080p/30fps
All the launches were with Launch Assist but they kind of suck because it’s so warm here that my snow tires are like sticky tack. No spinage

I love my go pro, it is amazing how many different things that you can film with it. I was playing with nerf dart guns with my nephews and placed the camera on one of the guns, made for a great little film. It is also amazing how strong the cases are, I was a navigator in a rally car and we had a gopro mounted on the outside of the front window, anyway we rolled and the car landed upside down and pretty much all the weight was on the camera. 15 minutes later when we rolled the car back over the camera was still recording and working perfectly 0 damage.
For your next video, try mounting it a little lower to the ground and right behind the front wheel. Could look great, especially during turns.
Yeah they’re strong for sure. There is a guy who lost one while surfing somewhere. Found it 2.5 months later washed up on the shore. Case was little salty but the camera inside was perfect and it still recorded when it was lost. I was a bit discouraged when I read the “Made in China” label on the bottom. For some reason I was under the impression that these were made in NA. Not really a big deal, China has the capability of producing high quality stuff

I’ve been wanting one for a while but just can pull the trigger on it.
I love my GoPro. I’ve lost suction at 30mph and only came up with a scratch. I’ve also ran over it with my snowboard a couple times. The provided suction cup mount lacks versatility as far as mounting directions go tho, so I got another one with a full swivel head and the GoPro tripod adapter for it. A mic also makes a huge difference in sound quality as the built in one sucks and the case makes it even worse. I’m anxious to see the wifi/remote setup they’re currently working on.

^chose that style so I can use it as a regular camcorder and get decent sound and great video, then I got a 20ft extension cord for when I want to use it on the car or something
And yeah I am changing up the exhaust this summer. Something quad tip. Probably the B7 FI system or the magnaflow RS4 setup
