VMR V713s arrived yesterday :-)

Got home from work yesterday to find a nice little “surprise” at my front door! My Matte Black VMR V713s arrived. Here are a couple pics of them with the matte black Audi center caps I found on Ebay. The wheels will be getting mounted next Thursday along with my H&R OE Sport springs as well. Will post additional pics of the summer setup once it’s all mounted up… along with another nice new “feature” that should be back from NYC on Wednesday…

Nice!

What are the wheel dimensions / tire specs? From the pics you posted at those angles it looks as if you dont have any wheel protection because the tires are not wide enough leaving curb-age inevitable

Thanks bigserve! I went with the setup that was recommended by VMR as well as LOU on AZ as he seems to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to wheel/tire setups. They are 19x9.5 ET45 wrapped in 255/34 19s, so yes a bit of stretch. Actually RIGHT AFTER I placed my order I saw a thread on AZ where a guy had bought the exact same wheels and went with 265s to avoid the stretch and protect the wheels better.

Truth is I know NOTHING about wheel and tire setups, it annoys me, but is true. And now I wish I had gone with 265s. Oh well, I am VERY careful about curbing wheels so I’m confident it will be okay, when it comes time to replace the tires though, I’ll be going to 265s I think.

Overall I wanted a “flush” look without needing spacers and avoiding any rubbing issues and this setup will get me where I want to be once the H&R OE Sports are on.

Should read 255/35 19 obviously! Type fail and no ability to edit post…

Nice!

Thanks bro! Hmmmmm just noticed the dynamic balancing weights are fairly noticeable… May be time for a quick plasti-dip project for today

Congrats, 265’s will work fine on the next set, don’t worry just burn thru them quickly.

Lol! I intend to
