Voltage spike when throttle

Hey,
finally got my car running again, it was indeed the injectors. Now another problem of course shows up the day after I got it running. My voltage spikes to upwards of 16 volts the moment throttle is given in neutral, drive or reverse.
It is most probably the voltage regulator or the alternator (former is built into latter) so I guess Ill have to replace it. I just want to know if by a REMOTE chance it can be something else… battery ground is tight and not moving, grounds I can see are too.
I have been told on other groups that there is a small wire that is easily broken on one of the terminals on the battery in the trunk that reads the voltage meaning if snapped the BEM would try to give all the power possible to the battery, but they stopped responding when I asked where it was specifically, on which terminal. If you guys have more info or pictures, id gladly take them. I could fonally do some pulls, but could only take two drives before something is wrong again :pensive:

It can also be a faulty battery. My battery had one cell damaged, and I also had voltage spikes. If not battery, it 99% will be voltage regulator issue

I had my new battery in, and I seitched to my old one that still works and still does it.

It must be the alternator then

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the alternator
