If you listen you can hear the 3 to 4 and its even faster then the 1 to 2 shift.
I like the pause on the 2 to 3. knowing the RS4 its probably to save the syncros

In any case, I recently ran against a buddies 07 Dinan Stg-2 335 with a Corsa axle back exhaust. We ran from 65 to about 110-115 and he had me by about 2 car lengths when we shut it down. However, we did a verbal 1-2-3 start over the cell phone since we had our windows up. With the slight delay in call processing, he definitely got a small jump on me AND he was calling the start. So, I would venture to say that I did ok, considering I am still limited by my crappy 2.25 cat-back. I’m going to remedy that next week though. And after that, some Texturk catless DP’s. Once all that’s done, I’ll re-run him, get a vid and then post it to this thread as an update.
thats really good for piggies and a 2.25" cat-back. if you get a full 2.5" dp back you should even up if not edge him out. add and intake manifold and its over

I don’t think 2.25 to 2.5 is going to ‘feel’ like much…it will just work better. It’s a weird thing. There’s not some rush of power that you’ve magically unlocked…it just creates a better overall curve. Subtle but effective.
@Likewater Going to a 2.5 should be more noticeable on a 60-120 pull than a 0-60 dig. Hopefully the 335 guy leaves the car as is so you/we can see the difference the new exhaust makes.

yup…you’ll need an RS4 with tune + full JHM exhaust.
or a JHM blower or nitrous kit.
nah, headers, intake manifold and 2.5" cat-back will do you well.

Nope he never leaves his cars alone. It’s gonna be a beast. My plan for now is full 2.5, IM and JHM juice. I think with that, depending on what he does, I should be good to go.

the fastest pump gas B8 S4s get into the low 12s (12.2-12.3) so a JHM car on nitrous should get down there pretty comfortably. That’ll be cool to watch you two battle it out. Get some vids (in Mexico of course)

Serious…the manuals pull harder. The DSG cars shift better. The results get washed out with most drivers, but a good driver in a manual should be able to beat a DSG car (mod for mod) every time.
