^^ ya it’s always the slow ones who complain about the 1/4 mile. isn’t that basically the case with AMD? hating on the 1/4 mile for years with respect to their RS4 supercharger kit until they actually ran a decent time?

Actually they hated on the quarter mile more with respect to their B5 S4 builds. I have posted here for ages that I thought the EPL tuning was holding the AMD Tial cars back. When they were building the RS4 kit they went out of their way to shit on the 1/4 mile some more…but once they ditched EPL and brought in a new tuner and ran a great time (11.36 @ 126.8) they are all about it now lol.

Funny stuff. Looking forward to seeing them ditch EPL on the B5 S4 Tial builds next. Should be able to put down some good results.

His 12.9 was definitely not fast…but he’s also FUCKING LIGHT YEARS from the fast REVO cars, so it’s irrelevant…and inferring that it’s safe because he went 12.9 (because he’s a ham fisted hack who can’t drive a car in a straight line) is impossibly stupid.

What a mental case. He describes Revo’s tune as “extremely conservative” despite the fact that it is the fastest Stage I tune (in the right conditions) on pump gas.

On another note, Car and Driver tested an R8 5.2 PLUS. 11.4 @ 126. WOW. Pretty awesome for a 3675 lb Audi.

550 hp and around 380 tq (can’t remember). Interesting that we’re seeing identical numbers out of the supercharged RS4s from TTS, JHM and AMD. Similar weight (RS4s are actually around 3925). Guess the three RS4s that went 11.3-114 @ 125-126 are making around 575-600 hp at the crank and around 400-410 tq at the crank (or around 500 WHP and 350 WTQ)

He argued with me in the past when I stated that running two tires with significantly different wear on the same axle is going to prematurely wear the clutches in the differential as if you were always driving on a curve. West says it is fine, much to the disagreement of his owner’s manual and Audi’s engineers
