This is very true. AZ seems to just be going downhill faster and faster. Not everyone on AR always shares the same opinions. The difference is, if you’re educated enough to have an opinion you can talk about that and get honest responses.
I only troll there because the whole things a joke, Vendors post up giant sales ads in the middle of an informative thread and it ruins everything.
One of the only reasons I signed up here was to get away from the vendors.

Sometimes, vendors being there can be good. I was quoted 2600 for a ST60 355mm BBK, which was almost 600 cheaper than I could find online. Then, a second vendor PM’d me and offered to do 2380 for the same kit. Imagine something similar can happen with overpriced exhausts.
I don’t actually think the content is too influenced by vendors. The b8 s4 section seems to be under moderated if anything, compared with other boards of similar activity. Recently all the swank/west drama brought it back into their attention.
But I definitely like the self-moderation thing going on here.
