What do you think

The average whp per lb of boost is gained on the S4 running K04 + size turbos?

For instance 1-35lbs of boost, clearly you will have spots where you make 4-6whp only and other spots where you make 17-20whp.

I no the answer but just wish to prove a point to others. The average gain will be the same on just about any combination. Some will have this average over a small range of boost and other turbos/setups will have this average over a wider range of boost. Thats the differences but lets find that magical number

what boost range are we talking as its going to change Per Lb of boost per Efficiency of the turbo in that range.

are you sure? we can’t just measure our dicks by saying how many lbs we make? You mean efficiency matters?

I don’t believe it.

Next you’ll be telling us that getting more efficiency out of the supporting system of parts will help make more power with no more boost,or help us make more power per lb at a given point in the range. Crazy talk.

he is going to have to be committed to a psych ward

Ok, read the first post

I read, then re-read the first post… And I am still confused. Are you asking us to hypothesize what gains we will see on a K04 car/psi above an agreed upon baseline.

If that is the case, then I am with Sakimano, the supporting hardware will play a vital role in keeping the turbos operating within a stable efficiency island.

It is also a given that above 25ish psi, K04’s become very expensive hair dryers.

I agree. over 25 they get a little hot. You need a great IC but you can go over 25. You can make graet hp on ko4s with a solid support system.
