i got the rs5 brakes because i wanted better braking but didn’t need a track solution and since i love OEM+ mods, the RS5 brakes were the perfect choice. well now its time to start modding those too. i sent out a few things to JHM to help them get this moving along. and got these in return :smiley:

. weight savings are as follows. the stock RS5 rotors weigh in at 27.5 lbs, the lightweight 365mm option weighs in at 21 lbs and the LW 380mm(what i went with) weigh 22.5. will have a matching rear set soon to follow. the hats were anodized black to my request and the rotors zinc coated to avoid any rust issues. will have them in my hands soon with pics to immediately follow. big thanks to Dan at JHM for this and there MIGHT be a few other things to follow :smiley:

that’s really cool. shaving 5 lbs vs. the RS5 setup is awesome.

The stock S4 rotors are probably 26.5 lbs each on their own anyway, so you’ll still be down 4 lbs per corner while going BIG

yea i figured the 365 while a little more performance oriented, wasnt enough for me to go with the 365’s and since this isnt a track queen i thought the 380’s would be perfect and would look boss behind the new wheels i have coming ;D. they are gunna do up some rears for me too. i finally put a fire under dans ass a bit to get some gears turning for the b8, and they’re working on some stuff finally ;D

365mm just like with the rs4. same exact brake setup other than offest

the B8 S4 has the 8 piston Brembos from the B7 RS4??? I’d bet a case of Coke that’s not true.
