What is this fuse for?

Long story short…

Audi S6 C6 2006 5,2 V10

I have this fuse, that keeps blowing.

But what is it for?

I found some documentation, that says “Engine Management system”.
But what is that?

I get the error:
P2296 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Control Circuit High

Could it be my fuel pump in thr trunk or my two fuel pumps under the hood?

My ‘fuse problem’ is part of my mystery over here…

I wonder, when whatever wires shorted out, now it is giving a constant +12 to the fuel pump causing it to run at 100% duty.

@laketahoequattro
I found this diagram:

I have also checked my battery, and it says:
12.09 V when the car is off, and 14,63 V when it is on.
That should be fine right?

I have just started the car again. The fuse was still intact. The car was fine in idling, for about 10 minutes. While it was started, I tried ti remove the two HP regs, one by one, but it does not make any different for the idle at all. I also tried to remove the fuse while idling, and nothing different the as well.?

But the ECP light is still flashing, and it is clearly not going well.

Have you any idea to figure out where/what wire it is?

I was going to say, I could pull my fuse and see what codes I receive. Mind you I removed ALL the sai stuff including solenoids, motors etc.

I’d like a wiring diagram for the car also for my records…
