Not sure, I was trying to get a hold of him to get access to a tuner he knows, but never heard back.
I was also very interested in the TTS build. Not that I have any plans to supercharge my car in the near future, but the more options there are, the better. Competition often brings about progress.
Just like I can’t wait to see the built motor project from JHM. Or any other project from any other company, good or bad. Even the bad ones give us SOME information that can be helpful.
Well the good news is that the last twobsuperarger kits to launch have been great, and the next two to launch have great hardware choices (jhm and aviva) so maybe 4 in a row?
Motor build is already happening with jhm
The good thing about that is they are soooo far along with the b6 built motor project I imagine the rs4 built project will be much easier. Easier may be a bad choice of words lol. But they will have cleared some of the hurdles of dealing with alusil blocks with 5.5 mm walls or whatever they are.
I wish I had known about JHM when I was living in Cali, would have been a fun trip to visit their shop. Although, maybe it is better I didn’t. I probably would be $30k more into my car by now with mods and parts and experiments haha. I really envy all these guys who can just afford to do whatever they want with their cars.

I got the tune done 110%. Not by MRC.
I will report back in shortly, I just don’t have anough factual data to provide a good post. The only facts I can post is my 3rd gear 3-8k runs are easily hitting 6 seconds flat.
BTW, anyone here a 1/4 mile buff who lives in S Florida? I got a 500+whp RS4 looking for a good driver to log some numbers.

Why don’t you drive it yourself? You’ll do just fine.
Launch it from 3600rm or so and just shift briskly as you would on an on ramp when giving it the beans.
Esp off (hold button for 3.8 seconds)
Clutch down
Select first gear
Raise rpms to 3600 and hold
Release clutch in a swift instant
Floor the accelerator when the car moves
If you floor the gas too soon it will just rev crazy
If you lift off the clutch too slow you will slip it and damage it likely.
If you find the car spins the tires too much and doesn’t launch well, you can lower tire pressure a few psi, and or try launching from lower rpm (3400 say)
If you find the car bogs and doesn’t go anywhere you may need to make it 3800 rpm. Don’t go much higher than that. I mean it may work but it doesn’t make your stock clutch happy. Aftermarket might be fine with it.
This technique has served me well in dozens of dragstrip passes in my rs4.
What tires have you got on there?
sharm you just bought jhm exhaust right? Contact them and tell them you are disappointed you couldn’t get in in the group buy and would like the credit if the group buy goes through, similar to what they offered the other guy.
I think they will give you a store credit.
Just seen this, saki the launch technique on the tts kit will vary from your car. NA and blown have different launch points in fact mate the pes and tts has completely different points. Imo in the tts around 2.5k rpm and side step of the clutch this will get you off the line with no drama’s the pes was higher closer to 5k launch. I did launch the tts higher but it spun to much

What rpm did you launch at in that video against that weird looking car. Might have been at bruntingthorpe (I think that’s the okace)

Keith had good results launching from 5000 rpm with the tvsr1320
I bet the torque made by the tts down in the 3000 range isn’t dramatically different from the 1320. Or this new 1900 kit.
That was a TVR of some sort and it was around 4kish mate, the tts kit was way easier to get off the line.
