1st they fired Prince who was well loved
2nd they hired Andy Beluga to replace him, a bonafide psychopath who threatens and chastises customers REGULARLY
3rd they burned a couple of bridges with very smart people who helped the company get off the ground
4th they burned bridges with companies who were very generous and supportive of their business

The hiring of Andy Beluga was to me the most important of the many nails being driven into VAST’s coffin. I don’t think Mike knows it because he’s a bit booky and has his head buried in other things so he doesn’t quite grasp all the horrific things Andy Beluga does to the customers…but god damn this is incredible stuff! Can you imagine receiving emails like these from the manager of a shop you’re trying to spend a few grand at???

Mike seems to be getting a pass here for being a nice guy. This should be reflecting more harsh on mike then this. While this andy seems to be just plain unable to understand how the market works I would assume mike hired andy. From the amount of people who have said they have a issue I don’t see how mike could not see a pattern here. Its not like the people bashing VAST are people who would never buy anything from VAST. There past customers of VAST.

Seems to me andy should hope the members are not loyal, cause from where Im sitting they might be loyal to the idea of closing the Doors at vast. From there all working together to make sure people are aware of VAST and its tactics and antics.

Even though Andy is the fatest most Bi-Polar person I’ve meet in my life. Mike the owner of Vast is well aware of all this and he’s the major problem not Andy, Andy is just the voice of Mike/Vast. Both these guys are mental and made for each other!

CallinUout - that site is just wow. Now there are some facts. I didn’t realise you had to be registered as a vehicle repair centre. Is that true for most states/provinces? And secondly, how did VAST get away with not being registered for so long?

BTW - I think everyone on this site would be dumbfounded at the number of Indy’s in operation that are not properly registered/licensed etc. My biz partner’s wife is a partner in a CPA firm which is also a law firm specializing in this area. TONS of companies get caught up in the licensing/registration issues. Hefty fines and even license suspension is common.

Yeah, it sounds funny but they rovoke your right to apply and pay for one. Hence suspending it even though you don’t have it yet.

Every state has this law, I just looked up Michigan motor vechicle repair act, it clearly states “anyone unlawfully performing motor vehicle repairs without being registered is in violation and the customer is entitled to double damages” Also you have to employee a certified mechanic, whether the work was successful or not the customer by Michigan court of law is entitle up to double the amount they spent.

I read on another forum where Andy said Vast had at least 1 million in inventory at all times, machine shop & fabrication shops lol.

When I visited this junkyard a few months back there was no such thing, motors where being built right next to the welder & grinder all in the open, heads where being assembled on used dirty oil drums, all this took place in their dirty wide open shop with the door wide open, dirt from their gravel driveway was blowing in the shop. I wouldn’t let these clowns work on lawn mower in this facility.

There was 5-6 small resisdential shelfs mostly full of junk, if there’s $30.000 in that building for inventory I would be shocked!

These clowns are con-artists & have been fooling the public for years.
