With all the v10 S6s that have joined the site over the last year, you would think we would see a few v10 S8s join the party too.
I know there has to be some out there. I’m pretty sure of it

the s8 is a awesome car. I just think not too many people think high performance when they see the car. The S6 is in a better price range…

Agreed, they look incredible.
The interesting thing is, from what I can find on the web, they are actually lighter in weight than the S6, due to the model utilizing the Audi spaceframe. And the air suspension is super cool, nevermind all the other fancy toys that they pack the car with.
Just found a 2 owner 07 s8 has all the options I like e.g. Daytona plus carbon but no b and o, it has 100k miles but it was a two ower cpo, i have all audi service records and from new to 100k at audi, looks like new front air struts, compressor, mmi, flapper motor, brakes two or three times, new tires truck motor etc, have all been replaced unsure of carbon clean but it’s under 20k prior to negotiating so I’m seriously thinking about her…should I hold for lower miles and b and o or should I buy and commence modding now
I didnt even know you could get an S8 without the B and O. I dont see how the bose system could be anything that isn’t incredible enough to where you would notice a difference. Thats a lot of great stuff that got changed thats expensive. So thats a good start. To me color and interior is the main thing. Sounds good and under 20 is a great price
Yeah it’s Bose and I actually read on another forum that the bose is actually solid and if the source isn’t perfect actually sounds better than the b and o (16k option)
Waiting on exact option list so we will see. But looks somewhat promising. I think I’m fine with higher miles if maint is there and it gives me 6-8k for mods and repairs depending on what I find. Buying one for 28k that will need these items anyways doesn’t make sense. Only reason for lower miles is for better value if I were to sell but I thin at this point nicely maintained these should already be near the lowest price point.

Right now it looks like the 07 cars are going for mid to low 20s and the 08s are going for high 20s low 30s and the 09s are going for about the same with an exception of a few real high priced ones…
I think a car fax is a great idea on any car. getting a snow free state car is worth a few dollars more and in lots of cases you get a good idea on all the work the car had done at the deaer
Yeah that’s only problem with example, it was MN and I asked about rust they said no rust and the all aluminum frame helps with that as well…I think I’d still have a southern car, but not sure I would fully elminate a northern one. As you said this one is priced just below 20k but literally has every service record that was done at audi…one thing I just noticed is from pictures it doesn’t have extended leather.
The big question might be is the 09 worth the premium since it has a slight refresh and newer MMI, I can hardly tell but they to look a little sharper
