Who's spending their Tax money on car parts besides Me?

I actually didn’t notice the studs making noise at all. I was quite impressed, as these are my first studded tires ever and that was my biggest concern with getting them. I’ve got all of 30km on mine and the 8’s tend to slide around a bit on bare, slightly wet roads. The studs can’t get traction as well in these conditions. I was told this would happen as they need about 300km to break in according to Kal Tire. In this time, the surface oils will wear away and the studs will wear slightly allowing the rubber to grip better. Even after the break in period they probably won’t have the same traction as a studless tire on bare roads. I’m ok with that as the majority of the roads around here are hard packed snow/ice. These things stop, start and handle very well in these conditions!
