I think they look better now than they did at release, mostly because current gen cars are starting to really have a cookie cutter similarity between brands. The A/S/RS7 rear end stands out.
I actually prefer the new c7 a7 compared to the equivalent s6. So much so I’ll be picking up a 2012 one on Wednesday, coming from a s6 v10 so nice to move up in the years to the a7. I went for the 3.0 TDI 245hp one. Living in Ireland diesels are more common on the ground

How was the transmission on your S6? Mine was awful. 2-1 shift were often a ‘bump’. In S mode, the 2-1 shift could be violent.
Definitely not the smoothest, very lumpy in sport like you mentioned.
