In his defense, you know what it’s like. Most B5 people won’t run their fucking car unless you threaten their dog with a gun. So I’m sure BT isn’t scared of a race. Dude went to the strip, cut a 3 second 60 foot and posted the video. I don’t picture a young insecure 21 year old worried what people will think. Dude probably has a beard and wears sandals with socks and cargo shorts. He will race pretty much anything. Problem is finding another B5 guy who will race.

Ummmmm no, I drove 700 miles to have a weekend away with my wife, hang out with car friends, see a shit load of cars everywhere, take in the awesome atmosphere, eat good food, race anything I saw on the road and just have a good time!
So I don’t know what you want to hear or what you expected mate.
And yes when there are 10s and at times 100s of people yelling “Do a burnout!” I think it’s rude not to entertain them. But to each their own right?

I love it when FAW makes an attempt to direct his typical condescending tone to others, only to have Saki call him out immediately. This time it was Lee, several weeks ago it was Tweets/Reid. If anyone should be called out its the usual suspect. I won’t mention names but I believe he took an M3 over. It’s very difficult for me to comprehend how anyone can talk so much about their build, crush everyone in the 1/4, solicit street races with a 5k minimum and not have it ready for H2O…
and yeah, I will happily call FAW out for trash talking guys for not running their cars. That’d be like me calling someone stubborn. Or blunt. Or tall.
Actually I couldn’t wear my sandals down there because a can of E85 in the trunk hit the meth tank, knocking the float switch out, and causing the meth / water mix to spill int he trunk over my sandals haha.

I actually got to meet a very very drunk Adam on Saturday night… I must say he’s very different in person, not the dick he comes over as online haha.

BT, with your access to sweet tooling and such, why not get a proper setup for your intercooler piping if the boost is so high it causes it to pop of all the time (v-band, or modify the TB with a nice high bead or something)
Just sounds like a pain to worry about all the time. Don’t take this the wrong way, but after seeing your attention to detail on the engine build, I’d expect more. On one hand you put a ton of time and thought into things and then you skimp on things like a leak proof intercooler piping setup.
Actually I never had the problem until the weekend. I found out why on Monday when doing some logging.
I had flashed a new tune for the weekend with map switching and didn’t have time to test it. Turns out the boost was going above requested so the throttle plate was being closed to 50%.
A quick log over the weekend would have shown it.
The pressure differential front one side of the plate to the other was causing it to pop off every now and then.
So a tweak to the tune and the problem is solved.
That’s not to say I don’t have some plans to stop it from happening though.
