Wiring diagram for headlights

Hello all. I have a 2007 s6 with an electrical gremlin I’m trying to track down. I am getting an intermittent brake service warring (the brakes are fine) and I loose my right headlight, front turn signal and led running lights. A brief history on my car it had a small fire in the engine bay and as a result had some wiring work done. The car was featured on a Velocity tv show so I was able to see some of the work that was performed. I was told the guy doing the work was a former Audi tech, based on the work I have repaired this was clearly not an accurate claim. Anyway in the show they replaced the damaged wiring harness that runs over the passenger wheel well with one from an a6 of the same year. According to the tech on the show they were identical with the exception of 1 additional wire on the s6 for the leds. So the wire was added to the replacement harness and installed in the car. I have checked everything from the firewall forward and repaired anything that was questionable. Based on what I found the harness wasn’t spliced at least forward of the firewall. So now my thought is either the old and new were spliced inside the car somewhere under the dash or possibly it was ran to whatever computer it plugs into and they repined the plug with the new wire.

My question is can anyone tell me how that harness is routed and where it ends in the car? I can’t seem to find a good wiring diagram and I would like a direction before I start pulling the inside of the car apart if possible. My scans show open connections so Im thinking it should be easy to fix once I know where to look. Thanks for any help you can offer.

I would bite the bullet and put the correct S6 harness in it. There were some parts vehicles around this past year…maybe they’re still here.

Since I wasn’t able to find the info I was looking for I decided to start pulling the car apart. Fortunately once I dropped the glove box I was able to see the wiring harness I needed. It came in and went directly to a junction/ connection point at the floor on the right side. As I started to un tape the harness to find a bad splice I noticed huge grounding lug that the harness connected to that was loose. I tightened it up and checked the rest of the harness. It would appear the harness was pulled apart and the wires needed we added and pushed into the factory plugs. So the repair was done correctly but they either forgot to tighten the lug or it came loose. Either way I put things back together and cleared everything out in the computer and everything is up and running correctly. I will say I have a new appreciation for the engineering that went into this car. I have never seen so many wires in such a small space but still very easy to work on. Thanks to everyone who tried to help on this!
