Anyone have plastic bits they are not using? I’m looking to develop an OE alternative/upgrade kit for our manifolds. I don’t want to dismantle my complete one If I don’t have to. I am aware of the Russian Carbon fiber reinforced 3d printed ones, but from my experience in that material it can break down with heat cycling. Please let me know, don’t need a whole set, just enough to reverse engineer. Thanks guys.
I was also thinking of doing the same. But unfortunately my S8 came with the gutted intake already…
I will check this evening. I am 90% sure I saved mine in case someone wanted them in the future.

I have my original intake stored in my garage - it has roughly 90% of the plastic flaps intact. Any chance you’re near NE Ohio and willing to come help me split the thing open?

Cool. One of these days I was planning on gutting it but I was lucky enough to get a new one from JHM a couple years back so for now it sits. If anything changes on your end feel free to give me a shout.
