Based off a quick search on the Audizine B5 S forums, these were what I found on page 1:

most SSAC stuff requires adjustment to fit and can vary from minor to major.you get what you pay for. its not a job you want to have to do more than once. is a couple hundred bucks worth it?

It sounds nice, but mine fit like shit, I did get the first version though I heard their revisions were much better.

are you fucking kidding me? i just spent $750 in total labor for install and modification to a standard set of 3" dp’s from ssac. i’m happy for you, but god damnit. would have cost me $350 for install without all the modifications required to the dp’s to fit.

Were yours not the same?

i have the twin one and fitment was ok for a bit, but with all the bumbs it was shifting and moving alot, took it to a local exhaust shop and for 100 they fixed it up perfect. had to do some cutting and welding but its awesome now. you can get flex joints but ins more $$$ i got mine before theflex was an option, im ok with the olive clamps.

The install was not as bad as some people say it is, i never had to bed or cut the piping and there was no rewelding. the hooks for the the brackets were pretty much spot on execpt the one on the exhaust tips, i had to cut 1.5 inches off the hook on the drivers side to make it fit. the hardest part was getting my old exhaust off because the clamps were really rusted. fitment was good just took alot of muscle to get it in. but once its in, it fits nice.
the main problem i had was a lack of commutation with SSAC. i recievied my cat back quick, but was missing the clamps to connect to there dps which i was told would be included. still have not recieved them. like said before , shipping was quick had it within 3 days of ordering which is not bad considering it had to come to canada through customs.

[quote]…However, in my case, the saying “You get what you pay for” rings so true its embarrassing.
…Both straight mid pipes, dont line up the downpipes properly, they need to be forced into the clamps. …Also, they already hit the heatshielding, unevenly, before tightening back up the subframe. Going into the first muffler area, it hits the differential mount, and hits on the opposite side as well. Going to the second muffler, same thing. Hits the mount, doesnt line up properly. Like, AT ALL.
… every single place there was a bend, it hit. And not just like slightly off track, like majorly out of whack here. Also, Sergey tells me that its not properly TIG welded, but MIG welded and then TIG’d over. IDK why in the hell they’d do that, but seeing how terribly this exhaust was assembled, it doesnt surprise me. Seriously, no exaggeration, the ONLY thing that fit on the car was the Pass. Downpipe. EVERY other part of the exhaust hit the car so it couldnt be tightened and was bent in the wrong spot.

Based off my knowledge and experience with the B5 S world, SSACs were always a hit or miss. I had an experience at a DIY GtG I hosted where a forum member bought the 2.5" SSAC DPs and it took him the entire day to install them. I remember him saying they had fitment issues, creating a giant exhaust leak that I could hear when he started up his B5; granted the thing was stupid loud and cool but the hissing, wow.
As of current, I think SSACs are still a hit or miss product based off the above search; some people love them and some people hate them. I personally wouldn’t go with them because of their reputation of cheapily produced, reversed-engineered products that, in the long run, hurts “honest” performance companies.
The saying “you get what you pay for” is pretty evident in regards to SSAC products.
