I think your missing my point about the P/A thing, the meat of your statements are not P/A, it’s usually your last sentences are very P/A which basically spoils the points above you are trying to make. And if you noticed, I didn’t even just mentioned you, I even mentioned JSpazz as well. No need to go into things like what my brother’s garage looks like, that doesn’t reflect what we can or cannot do. Some of us have families or other priorities, I am not going to insult you about your life and what your priorities are. Besides, you haven’t even seen all the toys that are built, let alone the ones that aren’t. Considering JSpazz has a full plate to deal with in other priorities in his life, he does quite well with in the auto world. You make excellent points at times but like I said it gets spoiled with the jabs in there, that is P/A from what I gather, but anyways have a great day today, and I mean that.
Jamms70…so I rebuilt my heads on my 4.2BHF and I also have one of the quickest NA B6/B7 S4s…so am I allowed to comment on paper’s 492whp dyno claim. I have said numerous times that if it was someone else calling me out after I talked up my car…well I would be trying to get to a dragstrip ASAP.
But here is the thing…when people aren’t confident that they can drive…or that their car will perform on the track the same as it did on a dyno they get nervous. They usually attack other people…and their cars and try to dance around actually proving how fast their car is. Why won’t he just run? Jspazz said it, this site has some of the fastest b8s around…but is paper included??? Why should be be included? Everyone else has made dragstrip passes and can show that their car is pretty damn fast…Jspazz included, but here is paper making excuses even though he is a baller.
The only thing I care about is seeing this B8 S4 with an epic dyno make some dragstrip passes. A real world performance test that is recognized across all makes and models. AR is anything but the land of dynos and if Paper came here to only fuck with Saki then so be it.
I just don’t get how the B8 guys can sit back and listen to him. Primetime has already made his offer, but everyone else with a fast B8 (Jspazz included) should be telling this kid to go make some passes…otherwise this 492hp dyno means nothing. I don’t give a shit how many people saw the dyno with their own fucking eyes…or if they were competitors or not…big dyno doesn’t equal fast car…proven by the current B5 S4 clowns.
I am staying on topic here…the thread was “you guys want numbers??” then paper advertised his airstrip bullshit he will be going to. I said right off the bat that it means nothing, but honestly it looks fun. If he really needs to impress us like the AZ fools, then get to a track or just shut the fuck up.

Nobody here is a fool, and all of us have made our points on the dyno numbers clear…it’s just not worth getting panties in a bunch over a dyno number. If you think they are ridiculous, then to you they he will look like a fool to whoever reads them. I have a different opinion, which I’ve already shared, what I consider to be more curiosity driven than looking at the absolute number like a lot of you are. Prime understood this too. …it already has me thinking about intercooling options on the car, beyond the CPS system offered to us.

As a plus, because I showed my brother a lot of this on Saturday, when he was wondering why I wasn’t fully watching the unexpected live lesbian action at the club, he decided to join here. He is a racer’s racer, as you can tell, I used to tag along with him to watch the street races eons ago, and is just recently going to Audi. He still is a diehard Ford guy though, has owned more Mustangs than I can count, and still has his “street” SN95 and his Lightning.

I got them used so I got a nice deal on them from a fellow member so figured it was worth a shot, well see what happens… I think if I can convince GIAC to improve tuning for headers by me logging different parameters we can see some gains but we’ll see… I emailed them and mentioned it to see if they’ll do it for me…
Did anyone adjust the tuning for headers when they were installed? Just curious, or was that back in the early B8 tuning days where no one really had it fully going on yet.
I know JHM said on the B6/7 & S5 without major adjustments to the tune, the headers didn’t show a real-world acceleration result. They also said the B6/7 could barely idle since the new headers flowed so well compared to the stock manifolds lol.
