So I had a quite adventurous/frustrating/glorious day today. Ordered a set of 225/40/18 BFG KDW tires early this week and it’s about a 20 minute ride to discount tire where they arrived and were ready for install. Get to the shop an discuss the service. The manager tells me they can’t touch my wheels because they use spacers. My fronts have the hp2 calipers. No bueno for most wheels without spacers, like mine. So with my back up against the wall and no alternative. I popped my trunk and found all four jack stands, my tools, and my jack.
Like the bad ass I am (LOL) I drive next door and get to work.

I take my tires one by one and get it done basically by my lonesome lol
So far, LOVE these damn tires, so meaty and aggressive. The rounded sidewalls look amazing and late as solid as they look.
On the way home I stopped by the paint shop and grabbed up my washer cap, god I missed how clean they look painted OEM.
And some love for my boys at JHM, which I’ve been meaning to send another email too. My problems are intermittent and are happening infrequently…
Tomorrow I’ll be slapping in yet another axle along with my tie rods followed by an alignment next week.
