034 has a new dyno...and it's a heartbreaker

I particularly liked his subtle intimation that the Phantom Black car has issues the owner doesn’t know about yet. It doesn’t of course…he’s I think just grasping at straws.

Perhaps he has some vested interest in ebwerks exhaust not looking bad. I’m willing to wager on that.

Reportedly, tridoctor is doing what he can to try and cast his own opinions as fact. How sad. Nothing like the media coming to help.

No vested interest in Ebwerks, not making any intimations on the black RS at all. Just because I remark that issues can arise as the driver has not has a chance to drive it extensively does not mean I’m forecasting or implying anything is wrong. Denis drives his car daily and he and JHM are working out the bugs. Simple statement of fact. Any early adopter of any of kits have dealt with a few barriers. Eg, RS4per experience with AMD, Meems with his APR install, and Denis and his car. Everyone one of these guys I spoken with have dealt with something. I don’t know Marcus. He can drive his black RS when he’s back. If nothing is wrong, great. I have been in contact with all the companies that offer the SC for the RS, spoken with owners, researched posts, test driven cars, etc. as I am in the process of sc’ing my car.

JHM has great service and not knocking their kit at all. My experience with Denis and JHM are all first hand and direct - at their location when Denis’ car came in for the tunes, conversations with Dan, driving Dan and Denis’ cars, seeing Denis Dyno his car and in its current state.

So you don’t have an ebwerks fullback on your 07 Daytona Grey RS4?

Come on dude…let’s see what you posted and see if this sounds normal.

[quote=tridoctor]We probably don’t hear much about the black RS as the owner is over seas and only sees his car briefly when he’s visiting. Issues with that car may arise when he is back and is able to drive his car for extended amount of time.

Probably don’t hear because he’s overseas. Issues might arise. Hell while you’re at it, your Daytona Grey Rs4 might have an issue with it’s paint today and might become pink. Probably.

So gesTTalt…shall we change your name to your normal AZ name, or do you still want to pretend to be someone else? Say hello to the lone employee at AMD. Tell him we miss him here. Knowing who you really are, it’s pretty clear where you’re getting your conspiracy theories and coaching from.

The one customer’s car in question has other issues with his car that are not related to the tune or SC kit that we are addressing. We had 3 other RS4’s here with the same tune/components that performed very well and did not exhibit any of the issues the one car is question is. Your firsthand experience is really that of driving a car with an unrelated issue to our kit.

Also I don’t believe the other individual with the APR SC install would have had an issue if it was done by a Qualified Technician and/or a qualified APR Dealer. So really this information should not be used as an example either.

For the record the Black B7 RS4 here has made multiple passes of 11.7@119 which is similar to results we saw with other stg1 supercharged RS4s.

That being said, we are and will always be here to help and support you as a customer regardless of the parts you choose. Hopefully you based your decision on more than just price as we have seen dozens of companies come and go, you can find a couple examples of this happening right now actually.

Good to know. Thank you sakimano for uncovering yet another sad attempt by AMD to put out dribble to try and level the playing field. Now we know the reported information was useless. Good to know the honest members have a voice and can vote with negative karma for members like tridoctor.

…the doctor is OUT

I do have the ebwerks, but I’ve been modifying a few things on it as I’m not too happy with the fit and sound. I’m not out promoting it. I’m not going to bash it either.

As for trolling, someone mentioned Denis tracking his car. I jumped in to give info regarding his car’s last run.

I’m happy to retract my statement about Marcus’ car. It really doesn’t matter to me. I made an opinion statement based on others who have sc’d their cars and dealt with issues. I’m in the process of getting sc’d and willing to deal with any issues that comes up with my car.

Here are my other screen names: drgary on quattroworld, gesttalt on audiworld and audizine. I use different screen names for different sites. If you can change my screen name here to one of them, great. Nothing to hide.

This site is much more active and informative (albeit a little hostile at times) than any of the other sites. I’ve only been a reader and browser. However, now that that I’m modifying my car more, moving to participating. I’ve used the info you actually posted on the various sc’s to help make my decision for AMD. The choice was between JHM and AMD. The final deciding factor was not the kits itself, but my interactions with the people.

I’m friends with Denis and know the issues going on with his car. As I noted before, I’ve spoken with Dan, as well as driven his stage 2+ car and driven Denis’ car for comparison.

I never made any negative comment about the JHM kit. I did state that Denis needed a retune and JHM is addressing other issues with his car.

As for the APR system, yes, the issues Meem faced could have been avoided or dealt with easier had it been done at an APR approved dealer or with a qualified tech.

For me. When you say you chose a kit because of the interaction with the people and you chose AMD it says you’re easily conned. Then to post more hearsay in typical AMD fashion says you’re one more just like the other two.

Well, knowing that AMD is giving parts away so they can have customers, that makes some sense. You’re friends with Ben too, yes? So that makes even more sense.

In any event, good to see you will be supercharged soon. More fast V8 Audis, the better.

Dr Donothing, if you would have spoke with Countvohn you wouldn’t have decided to go with anything else.

Quoted for truth!!

yeah we won’t be ending any threads

So about that dyno…!

I don’t know man. CV is so cool it could end a thread. I’ve seen it happen.

Haha ya threads don’t end on AR. That’s what makes this the best Audi forum.
