605’s spool identical to 770’s and always have there’s hundreds of logs showing this. More efficient turbine housing discharge, more efficient turbine wheel, better speed match of comp/turbine wheel ratio, and ball bearing cartridge makes the 770’s equal the 605’s despite the size difference.

Show us something tangible that isn’t a dyno sheet, 60-130 or logs. Even a pbox 1/4 mile or a 0-60. The only success stories for the tials using this criteria are from notorious’ self tuned car and jfonz.

Jason actually taught me how to ‘launch’ my b5 without murdering the trans…I was going to take the car to the track just to see, but on my 4th practice launch my sweet RS4 shift knob came off in my hand on my 1-2 shift, and chunks of my south bend stage 3 clutch were dangling from my bell housing. Haven’t driven the car since.

Sounds like Jason really knows what he’s doing. Hint: don’t take his advice again!

More to do with the fact the clutch had 60k miles and was ready to go. Car was in pretty sad shape at 183k and was ready for the next stage in its life…

Here are some actual non slanted facts…I took the spool information from a actual honest vender of the tial turbos this is in direct relation to what another tuner has posted…even jfonz has mentioned and several times posted how the 770s lag behind the 60 whatever. …so we have several tuners distribution shops with actual results and guess what…non of them show identifiable information that shows this same zpool stuff…maybe the thought of same zpool that keeps amd cars in the way slow category. …
