^ Holy shit, that’s nuts! Are they doing that to try to meet EPA shit, or just keep cost down?
I bet keep torque up. being a truck low end (1.5k-2k rpm) is very important for it to be a suitable v8 replacement
Yeah, moving the powerband up would likely impact towing and isn’t that V6 ECO still rated at ~10000lbs? Crazy.
Yea after I posted I started thinking about it, and figured it might be something like that.
Still seems funny to see headers so small on something that makes that much power across the entire powerband.
Good point beem, this thing makes nasty torque down low
Just came across this. Awesome stuff. My work truck has the 5.0 and it really needs das boost.
Get into the 12’s yet?

So when does the efr 6758 swap come into play?
Never, but if I still had the truck I would have also never converted to a single turbo setup.
Oh I was unclear. It should have read when does the dual EFR 6758 conversion happen?
What did you move into after selling the truck?
Aw, you sold it!?
Nevermind, found your new setup. Looks Great!

I missed that also, what did you get?

Jake is spot on. The twin turbo ecoboost wasn’t enough power so he opted for a 9 cylinder 6.0L rotary engine with 3.5 turbos.
