…and an APR supercharged RS4 with a full/complete mod list hit the strip. Flying Potatoes went 11.28@125 on 93 octane .

So JHM still have a comfortable hold of the fastest pump gas RS4 title.

MTM exhaust and downpipes
Some kind of BBK
JHM lw rear rotors
LW euro seats
LW forged wheels although they’re an odd size so not sure of weight
titanium bolts (lol)
LW battery
And then suspension, short shifter and every mount you can do.

So pretty much nothing left on the table.
He cut a 1.74 sixty foot time and I believe APR has no lift shift so I can’t see him fucking up anywhere even if he tries. Although he is a quattrofail regular…and we know they tend to suffer from Mickitis.

He said he had too much gas at 1/4 tank but the lowest you’d want is 1/8 which is only about 15 lbs difference so there’s nothing in that that is changing a time.

I don’t know how you can suck at driving though when your $20,000 supercharger kit has launch control and no lift shift built into the tune.

As for boost at - 2800 density altitude, I bet he (and Apr ) has no idea whatsoever. They showed it made 14.5 in +1000 feet of density altitude at Apr on the dyno . Drop 4000 feet and you’re looking at a 10-12% power gain all else being equal, from density alone. Probably 16-16.5?

They aren’t saying though (because they honestly didn’t test it).

I’m not sure how you guys can try to clown someone who had the balls to actually go to the track. I haven’t seen any of the many customers you all talk about with the JHM S/C posting any times yet. 11.2 for someone in their first time on track with the RS in any configuration is pretty damn fast whether you guys want to admit it or not. Clearly in house APR and JHM drivers will be faster than owners with their cars. This is the fastest owner by far putting up a time yet. So how about comparing owner results to owner results?

If you guys want to actually see what he’s running with he’ll be at ATCO next weekend. Some of the assumptions above are off. Also something not to ignore is the fact that it was 25-30 degrees during the 11.2 run. But I’m sure someone will say that has no impact on traction so I shouldn’t have wasted my breath. It’d be nice for an AMD and JHM car to come out as well. Then check out all kits on the same track and same conditions.

People ask about JHM tune… By far the best tune out there for the RS4… Trollmatow goes on and on about being concerned… he mentiones pinging saying lots of people have pinging issues on JHM tunes… Turns out RS4 guys have pinging issues stock…then JHM did have a Beta program YEARS ago that was experimential and volantary for the RS4 one maybe two guys had a ping issue… it was solved in the BETA program… since the official release no one has ever said they have ping issues with the JHM tune… Trollmatow looks stupid again…and again… and again…

What are the JHM stage 2 S/C owners running with their cars? I actually don’t know, so appears to be a reasonable question to me. Mistro, I am no expert at drag racing. It’s simply not what I personally do often. Now if you wish to talk about a road course I highly doubt there is anyone on this forum with similar power/weight who would be anywhere near me on the track. But once again, has nothing to do with this thread. It’s pretty sad how often you guys choose to go on tangents instead of being able to focus on the topic at hand. I can promise you that flyingtomatoes spends absolutely no time being concerned about ur personal feelings toward him so it may be a good idea for you to move on and not spend so much time focused on him as an individual and just looking at results for what they r, just results.
