Milltek came out with “Valvesonic” editions for the 4.0T RS cars and the 3.0T V6 and older S5 4.2 model.

Are we hearing the valve operation? There seems to be a noise that would’ve sounded like what I’d imagine it would sound like.

No valves on mine. That is air suspension noises.

Bump… How is life with this exhaust? I’m still up in the air about this or the AWE, I really don’t want any drone.

Exhaust is great. No drone at all, just volume.

I took a ride in an awe s6 and thought it sounded great. I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I went with Milltek as it was larger diameter and less resonaters or more straight thru (turbo car after all).

I just wish Audi would come out with a sport exhaust option for its S cars like Porsche.

Thanks for the update. I think I’m going to stick with AWE come spring since I’m less than an hour from them.

I am curious to hear the new my2016 sport exhaust.

Plus that’s with a GIAC tune. I bet it’s less stock. But damn is it sexy…and nice to finally see someone make a full box, not those half-assed attempts at intakes for the 4.0 before.

It would be real hard to say how needed this is. AWE makes good looking parts. The dyno sheet shows a consistent run with gains across the rev range. I wonder if this would even do anything on a stock car.

It is used to “unlock performance”, which is quite clearly stated on the plate. This is where the premium pricing comes in.
