Never mind…they do a lot of this on purpose for drone/sound/performance management. It’s kinda shocking. The B67 S4 exhaust was a great example. It was insane. I guess it was to maintain a delta
I always figured it was cost management. Never knew they did it for acoustics/performance.
You should see some of the brutal crimps in stock exhaust. You look at it and think to yourself…there is no good reason for that restriction to be there…none. hopefully someone has pics of the shit I’m talking about. Its comical.
Yeah I saw the ones in my stock exhaust. Crazy bad. I actually thought I had to have hit something to cause crimps of that size but sure enough the other side matched.

Black lugs will still get scratched up when removing and installing and will likely corrode.
Exhaust is on. Test drive around the block and so far so good.
