560 crank hp MB C63 AMG vs. 610 crank TTS/MRC SC B7 RS4 = RS4 win right???

wrong

Walked. Ruh-Roh.

Those C63’s are just nasty

true. Or that TTS/MRC kit is … not even close to nasty. Or it wasn’t a TTS/MRC kit and the video poster (originally hosted on facebook) was wrong. About his own car.

Could it have been the MRC tuned wagon?

some one spent too much money and got pwoned

too much? it’s a bargain at $21,000

Who knows what that RS has or doesn’t. if it was the TTS/MRC that was not a good showing. The C63 plain left it. One thing that is evident, the RS4 driver was in the wrong gear at the third honk. The race starts and he’s hitting the limiter .0000001 seconds into the race. Was he sitting at 7K RPM while waiting for the honks?

he was ‘in it’ early on though he didn’t seem to lose ground so bad at the beginning, extra gear change or not. He got walked hard once he gotit in the right gear

Besides on the rs4 and a CSC you want revs.

No argument - he got crushed.
No argument - higher rev range to start and you’ll fair better results.

I still think he should have been in the 4.5K+ to 5.5K range, not 7K+ range to start a pull. Just my .02.

No way was this a TTS Rotrex anything. This is just some spurious video to discredit MRC and TTS. There’s no shot under the hood to show it was even anything but stock.

if you watch the video, the RS4 starts at around 5000 rpm not 7000+. THe gear change right on the 3rd honk is definitely not the RS4. That’s the sound of the 6.2. You can hear the RS4 after it gets walked and the C63 is far enough away lol.

oh - it was hard to tell while watching the vid - at least it was for me. I’ll watch it again. I thought he hit the limiter in the RS4 based on the jerkiness of the vid/driver.

I have found that it was a PES with M112 in France so nothing to do with a Rotrex kit ;D

The video is obviously the worst.

But, I’m not convinced there is an Eaton blower on there. C63 exhaust is loud, but I don’t hear any s/c whine that you’d definitely hear on an M112 etc.

the c63 just walks people out regularly… same thing with the cts-v… best take is to do a light to light and hope they get tons of tire spin… even though the c63 got a little jump before the last honk you cant prevent the inevitable

just my 2 cents…

BIG ENGINES BIG TORQUE
http://vimeo.com/34019389

they do make nice videos,

Also they are Audi engines so really not that big lol

I was thinking of the CTS’s monster torque. At the end of the day it would be bhp that wins the race. If your on it your only using the last 1500-2500revs. Now if your pulling up tree roots thats a different matter

HORSEPOWER, any thoughts on this? The guy who was driving the C63 had some comments. He says it definitely was a TTS. This is the french B7 RS4 Avant that I believe had the PES M90, then switched to the M112, then switched to the TTS Rotrex kit. Similar path as djpesRS4.

[quote=ahmed18881]i am sure it has the tts kit with the rotrex, the owner told us its a centrifugal blower, his friend was also boasting about the 25000 GBP the paid for it. i wish i popped a picture of the water-intercooler it was anodized red with TTS logo. The car has french plates, its a wagon.

Detective saki demolishing lies again

Are you guys going to take your car to the strip, run a shitty time, then tell everyone you accidentally ran with a PES car?

Come on dude. This is the internet. The internet always wins

well, it’s just one pull…we’ll see what really happens once the car goes to Santa Pod, which is a nice dragstrip in England.

Cool temps should produce good runs. Spinner ran there in density altitude -1000 feet DA a couple of years ago.
