This is a 10" pedestal. Too low for this car. It needs to meet the roof line. It’s also a 3D wing, which is no good unless you have a wind tunnel.

Additional measurements:
Cost is about $1541 plus tax and shipping, with the longer 14" uprights as an additional cost option.
Still have to sand it off and finish it, but this should reduce drag from the rear bumper. This is worse with a Milltek non resonated as the muffler space is air space.

That will really help from the look of it. Maybe you can put some mess in there to fill up the area. The one Audi raceing wing looks great. It sucks you cant get that rear defuser that would look great. Do those wheel arches do anything on the raceing audi
This car will never be low enough for a rear diffuser. Racecars have them because they provide downforce with no drag. A touring car like this will only get downforce from a wing.
So when I work on the valences, the only goal is to reduce drag at the front and rear. No downforce will be possible.
The wheel arch work would serve to reduce lift, and consequently run more cool air past the brakes by giving the air a high speed outlet.
All interesting to know. this kind of stuff isnt really in my strong catigory. Good to see and learn

Apparently fender venting is a thing on these newer Audi platforms.

Hadn’t noticed this one before:

I have been seeing that a lot on some of the new sport modles of cars. I wasnt sure just how functional they were
I removed the weatherstripping and foam blocks above the supercharger near the top of the engine bay. Rather than preventing rain rollback, I think these had the dual purpose of: quieting down the supercharger as perceived from the cabin; and lowering drag (front downforce) by blocking engine compartment air from passing over the top of the car.
Splurged a bit on an Osir carbon fiber hood. Hope to have it in a few weeks. I perceive this as being equivalent to the carbon fiber roof on an M car. It’s removing weight from above the center of gravity. Of course the audi is more front extremity challenged. I think this part will be stronger than OEM and not require hood pins. I think it will be dark enough to not require painting, but I’m open to getting it primed for phantom black metallic. It’s double sided and set in vacuum sealed carbon mold, with the same OEM under structure X patterns.
I think I could repurpose these Mustang fender vents for the Audi. May need to trim them down.
Why don’t you just find a good body shop that can do custom work and have them make fender vents for you? You could drive the design instead of trying to adapt existing parts to your car.
It’s ok if we diverge and toss the part. I just want to start with something concrete, above cutting a hole in the fender.
You most certainly need hood pins, since the audi uses no side latches like some BMW cars the hood will want to rise since it is lighter then steel or aluminum. Use the aerocatch hood pins. they are very nice.
