Last time I checked, I have said all along that I hope the AMD kit kicks some ass becuase first and foremost I’m an RS4 guy. I also recall you talking mad shit about the 4.2 everything.

You need to realise that there are tons of people on this site, and when one person says something, he doesn’t speak for everyone. You love to paint me as ‘always says AMD manipulates their dyno numbers’. I have never said that. I’ve said they lose sight of real world performance by focusing on the dyno and not on acceleration through the gears. I have said that I think the cars make legitimate power (especially the Tial cars) because the 60-130 stuff is a clear indicator of the power being made. Hell I even started a thread here saying that I think the hardware works just fine, but that the EPL tuning is what held back all those Tial guys.

I have also questioned why AMD is a ‘big B5 shop’ but can’t buy a $5,000 b5 to practice on. It’s really weird to me that his best customers (you, burningcoals, dshot, deep, etc) all had your motors blown up in pursuit of being dyno cool. I don’t get that. Same goes with the RS4. I don’t get why they’re practicing on Woodi’s car. And RS4per’s car. And trying to practice on Kryptonik’s car.

I also remember saying that Jason @ AMD is an asshole, and I also remember nothing changing in that regard since then.

So if you’re here to say 'told you so…told you that the RS4 with a good supercharger is a great car and CRUSHES any B5 with similar limitations, congratulations. You were right.

Best part of this exchange is watching NYET try to hold on to hope with his pathetic self tuned B5. Guy is talking about his car running 12.6 @ 111 on race gas. My fucking stock RS4 went 12.7 @ 108 and 12.8 @ 109.9. The RS4 in discussion in that thread, on pump gas, trapped 125.

The 1.0 car went to the strip, struggled to get out of the 12s and trapped 120. That’s fucking crap for a 15 psi, upgraded everything TVS1900 supercharged RS4. Jason admitted it on PM that it’s crap with his mile long excuse list.

Looks like they figured out a few problems, and got it sorted out. GREAT. I was giving frigging Jonathan as much advise as I could on how to launch this product SUCCESFULLY with people like me who everyone like YOU paint as a hater. When I heard they had shitty 60’ times, I told him that this is not possible if you know what you’re doing, and I told him exactly what I would try to do in order to succeed. Doesn’t sound like a hater to me. Sounds like someone who just wants to see RS4s kick the shit out of B5 and B8 S4s and M3s and AMG cars.

My engine is not and never was blown. It had shot head gaskets end of story.

Blown head gaskets= a major part blown in tbe motor. The motor needs to be torn down to fix…end of story…wake up man…

Blown head gaskets mean the heads come off not an engine tear down. Not what “blown” means in the aftermarket world. Blown implies broken mechanical parts en engine beyond salvage. Caused by implied tune or assemble defect. In this case, the problem was stock head bolts, something that has been found to be a weak link in the B5 community. Thus everyone going to aftermarket studs/bolts.

So, end of story, not blown.

No blown…blown head gaskets…meamt a parts was blown in the motor. .its nice your not even doing the work but you know what a blown motor is…something broke in the motor. It. Was blown head gaskets.

I know being part of the advertising staff @amd they dont want you to clasify it as blown…but you blew up a crutial part of your motor that reauires you entire motor to come out…get tore down…heads sent out to get decked…drian all the fluids…drain all the oil check for damags then put it all back together

In any event who used the stock parts when they built your motor? If it’s a known issue and your motor was being torn down and rebuilt, was there a reason to reuse them? Or is this known issue only a recently known issue.

Try a thicker one piece head gasket . Some firm in the uk makes some gaskets for supercharging n/a engines .
Has to be tapered and I can’t remember what else .

He has a b5 s4 that has blown it’s motor 2 or 3 times thanks to various tuning companies’ work.

Not a supercharged rs4. Although his dad has an S6.

Tweets, if I buy a B5 S4 and drive it daily for a year straight…could I say I have more experience with B5 S4s than you?

Plenty of thing beyond faulty head bolts can cause a blown head gasket…and I hope no one reused OEM head bolts on a motor being rebuilt considering they are one time use and stretch. Improper instal could be just as much of a contributor (not following torquing phases)
