Lol that’s funny I’ve owned 1, put over 50k miles on another and I have been driving them for 7 years. I’ve torn 4.2s down, done misc work on them… Looks like I’m more of a 4.2 than euro is. But what do I know/care about them…? Oh yeah, I love to see audi be advanced and get fast. I’ve been to the 1/4 in 2 4.2Ls multiple times and to be damned the S6 was the slowest thing I’ve ever taken hahaha without the stock air box that thing was a DOG.
What I’m trying to say is I hold as much stake as many of you. I’m an audi enthusiast who has been in the game for a while and I would argue I have put more miles on them AND driven as many or more audio than a lot of you. The count is around 15ish B5s 3 B6 the C5 S6, 4 C5 A6, etc.

I decided to start modding it after my last deployment back in 2011, that is also when I became more of an active forum member. I have those to thank before me that put great info out there to make my parts and tune decision very easy. I have always been a dragstrip guy and always will be…I also have the huge benefit that the strip is 10 minutes away and at 15ft sea level. There isn’t much else to do in jvegas North Carolina .

I’ve removed the heads off of just 1 4.2, the engine which was torn down.

Last time I checked, I have said all along that I hope the AMD kit kicks some ass becuase first and foremost I’m an RS4 guy. I also recall you talking mad shit about the 4.2 everything.
You need to realise that there are tons of people on this site, and when one person says something, he doesn’t speak for everyone. You love to paint me as ‘always says AMD manipulates their dyno numbers’. I have never said that. I’ve said they lose sight of real world performance by focusing on the dyno and not on acceleration through the gears. I have said that I think the cars make legitimate power (especially the Tial cars) because the 60-130 stuff is a clear indicator of the power being made. Hell I even started a thread here saying that I think the hardware works just fine, but that the EPL tuning is what held back all those Tial guys.
I have also questioned why AMD is a ‘big B5 shop’ but can’t buy a $5,000 b5 to practice on. It’s really weird to me that his best customers (you, burningcoals, dshot, deep, etc) all had your motors blown up in pursuit of being dyno cool. I don’t get that. Same goes with the RS4. I don’t get why they’re practicing on Woodi’s car. And RS4per’s car. And trying to practice on Kryptonik’s car.
I also remember saying that Jason @ AMD is an asshole, and I also remember nothing changing in that regard since then.
So if you’re here to say 'told you so…told you that the RS4 with a good supercharger is a great car and CRUSHES any B5 with similar limitations, congratulations. You were right.

Best part of this exchange is watching NYET try to hold on to hope with his pathetic self tuned B5. Guy is talking about his car running 12.6 @ 111 on race gas. My fucking stock RS4 went 12.7 @ 108 and 12.8 @ 109.9. The RS4 in discussion in that thread, on pump gas, trapped 125.

The 1.0 car went to the strip, struggled to get out of the 12s and trapped 120. That’s fucking crap for a 15 psi, upgraded everything TVS1900 supercharged RS4. Jason admitted it on PM that it’s crap with his mile long excuse list.
Looks like they figured out a few problems, and got it sorted out. GREAT. I was giving frigging Jonathan as much advise as I could on how to launch this product SUCCESFULLY with people like me who everyone like YOU paint as a hater. When I heard they had shitty 60’ times, I told him that this is not possible if you know what you’re doing, and I told him exactly what I would try to do in order to succeed.
