You can hide behind the GTR and whatever else you want did EPL tune your GTR…If no then your missing the 10 pages of issue…If your telling us that you can put all your hardware on the GTR and have a crap tune and still get those records then maybe using EPL shouldn’t worry us…Since EPL didn’t tune the GTR you might want to see that we are saying WE ARE ALL WORRIED YOU WILL MAKE GREAT PARTS AND THEY WILL SUFFER BECAUSE OF EPL NOT AMS…

Your “evo style testing” comment was completely wrong. You insinuated we are going to be removing weight and making glory runs with these cars. We don’t do that, I showed you that. You are not correct and spreading that kind of thinking isn’t fair to anyone.

You questioned our ability to make a product. We make some of the best products in the automotive performance industry.

We get it, you and a few others on here don’t like EPL. You have CLEARLY stated that. We however base our decision process on something called experience…direct experience. So far they have come through with everything we have asked. IF they fall short on that mark we will address it then. We know how to take care of ourselves and determine what is best for our company.

You say that run was their fastest pass to date. Couldn’t you also say that our first time showing progress with this platform was a success? Maybe we are a good team.

I intended to come here and share some our process, ideas and goals for this platform. A few of you actually seem interested in that while others just seem keen on telling us we are doing it wrong before we are even given the opportunity to prove ourselves to you.

Again if you don’t like the way we do things, move on…don’t buy from us. You clearly have an affinity for other tuners in this market and you seem happy. Stay with them and let us continue to work with the people that are interested in the way we want to do things and what we have to come. If you want our parts but don’t like our tuning methods that is fine. All of our parts will be available for purchase without tunes.

It’s just that EPL burned a lot of people in the past with their Audi offerings, so it’s a sore spot with a lot of people on here.

That said, I think everyone on here is excited that the B8 has a new entrant in the market. Looking forward to those videos and further information about your products.

I can’t comment on what happened in the past nor if there is any truth to what you are saying but i have heard far more people talk great about Tony than bad. Matter of fact this is the only place where I have heard negativity.

I’m going to step away from this for a while as I feel like a fish swimming upstream. Ill more hard data and products when we get it. I know our cooling kit is really close to being a finished product and we are pretty proud of the innovation behind it.

You owned a B5 right? So you know that there are a bunch of shops that have sold shit in a box and said it was gold because it had a pretty dyno sheet. That’s what lots of us have seen.

So, this site is full of people who want to see proven performance to prove a concept…not dyno sheets. We want 1/4 mile slips mostly for acceleration parts. You seem to get that.

  2. You said you trapped 110 and went 13.45. That’s a modest time.

  3. You said the DA was crazy bad. +5000 feet.

  4. We asked to see the slip to confirm the DA, and you posted a photoshopped slip with the date cut off

Tell me how this looks, forgetting that you’re AMS. I can help. It looks TERRIBLE.

We know you will kick ass. We know you will show us great results.

You should love this site to be honest because we DESTROY pretenders. AMS is the real deal, and proves their concepts and parts by showing REAL performance, not pretty dyno sheets and hopes and dreams. Audirevolution was created to champion companies like yours, so you should be happy that we’re generally skeptical at first. It means you’ve found your home because we’re they guys who turn your competion…the companies who are full of shit and faking it…into yesterday’s news.

I think AMS will like this site in about 2-3 months. Once they’ve hit the strip and shown results. They’ll get why the skepticism and confrontational comments fly around here even if it’s not their style… I like that this person (Eric) from AMS has a level head.

I think AMS means it’s stock parts just a tune only. 12.45 is nothing to write home about with a tune only.

+600 da is what they ran in. Not great, but certainly not bad.

i never said ams trapped 113, i said an epl tuned b8 trapped 113. it was tony’s car which has more mods than the stock ams car shown

its funny that people are so confrontational to a new idea or person here, im sure it drives not only the innovators away but enthusiasts as well.

im here for the long haul and have a past of choosing parts based on experience and not “hearsey”

people should be welcomed instead of stalked and bashed because they like different brands and parts than what the majority run :slight_smile:
