Just think though, who goes for “tune only” fastest? People usually want to be the fastest so they add bolt-ons, upgrade the pulley, etc… by the time stage one revisions come, people moved on to stage 2 or boltons and to me if I was a new B8 customer I would go stage 2 right from the get go.
Ya it’ll be interesting to see where AMS takes this. I’m actually surprised they just released the basic EPL tune without any of their own tweaks. Their initial description suggested otherwise. At least they posted a 1/4 mile time, though. That’s a welcome improvement from the B5 platform.
Your comparing your race gas tune… even if epl runs the same as apr you will have something to complain about just like apr always talks bad about revo…

11.93 @ 116.99 93 PUMP! Not sure what you don’t understand there?
Yep, waiting for “EPL” to run the same or better… Newsflash Saxon I don’t work for APR, I’m a paying customer… Let me know when an AMS/EPL customer runs something close… Once you are tuned we can meet up as I have already offered… lol
AMS has done well on other platforms with very few failures that I am aware of. I’d believe there is a reasonable chance that they could be successful with the B8, either with (or despite) EPL or another tuner if need be. If they do well at stage 2 levels, I don’t see why they wouldn’t explore a future stage 3 as well which is what could make things really interesting. Even if Tony/EPL has a checkered past, let’s see where AMS goes with this one. Even if they fail miserably, we still are in pretty good shape with what APR and GIAC already have on the market.
I have some respect for all of my competitors, except for Revo. They never had and never will ever have any respect from us. They don’t deserve to exist, and shouldn’t. I enjoy watching that ship sink every day.
