I already reported Anthony’s (admin) post this morning and commented about how unbelievable it is that he allows a known scammer to continue using the site. We’ll see if he responds…

For a minute I was almost disappointed. He was somewhat fun to mess with. But good riddance, he spread a lot of misinformation that was detrimental to the community. While I’d like to see them also kick the OP to the curb, I think they handled it decently.
In addition to all of his scamming, he was caught red handed for having multiple accounts, which is against the T&Cs (after the users had to point it out numerous times) and still, even though he clearly went against AZ, they just remove his “other” accounts and let him stay on with the one? (And they admit they’re not sure if they caught them all).

That’s what I expect, but who knows. I doubt he even dug deeper then the information that we provided so maybe it will push him to look further into it. Now that he is confirmed as Mario M, there’s no reason why he should be allowed to have an account.
I think I missed something lol. The OP was scamming people? I thought he was just trolling with multiple accounts. Do people not take legal action when things get stolen from them? I’ve only experienced it once in the car world and it wasn’t too difficult to sort out.

You missed a lot, this guy has been around scamming a while on AZ and vortex. THe connections was made a while ago, but Wolf brought it back up.
Are the AZ Admins doing anything to stop him from doing it again? My guess is probably not. He might as well just go ahead and create a new account to scam.

There’s a few sharp guys over there. Then there are a few who literally do nothing but troll. Then there are a large group of people who know absolutely fuck all about performance and are just brainwashed to buying what everyone else buys. Over there it’s milltek downpipes and catback, MRC tune and maybe a Revolution intake/airbox. Also MRC port and polished manifold is very popular. The forum, as a collective, has done ZERO testing about which parts work best for acceleration. Literally zero. Yet they will argue that tuner ABC sucks because it’s not MRC or exhaust XYZ is terrible because it’s no milltek. There was a thread asking what the ‘best’ exhaust is. Half way through people started talking about 2.75" being ideal and then a pile of people were freaking out because not everyone wants power out of the car so 2.5" is fine.

Basically 3 out of the 5 mods they all do, we have shown to be inferior to other offerings or even stock. And it’s 4 out of 5 if you count the MRC tune but we have seen nothing to validate that…just a guy with MRC everything who ran at Santa Pod…slower than my car with just a JHM exhaust.
They’re about 5 years behind.
