APR has been sold to Mangrove Equity

What was that deal again?

An automotive detailing deal gone horribly, horribly wrong…AGAIN!

You must be referring to Keith Casiano.

He’s some guy who quit his job as a Fidelity stockbroker to work sales @APR. Bought a Golf R project car and blew the engine 2x.

Dave

Dave, you should seriously consider adding some info to apr’s Wikipedia page…

LOL…talk about a shit-storm waiting to happen!!!

Today’s release for APR had to hurt

Aside from being a poorly designed product, it looks like Arin himself has told people that it’s a waste of money!

vs Arin’s criticism of a Neuspeed discharge kit

“The money people spend on intercooler pipes, discharge pipes, etc, could easily be put towards parts that actually make power.” --Arin@APR

The Neuspeed product he was criticizing.

Pretty interesting how APR provides zero dynos or any other data for said product. Seems like they’re dealing in trinkets now.

Dave

Well when you’re too busy hacking Facebook and email accounts, all you have time for at the end of the day is to produce trinkets like this. Definitely another rushed product launch, and Arin’s comments about it being a waste of money doesn’t help the matter either.

Looks like #teamAPR got a little bit smaller today.

Word travels FAST!!!

?

One of the ringleaders of the crew219-haterade squad is no longer there. There are a few more bad apples to weed out and a few that could be reformed.

May the odds be ever in their favor…

Who?

Colby McConnell, Director of Sales. Maybe his puppets Victor & Keith Casiano will change their ways… maybe…

Interesting. Wonder what the new MPR is going to look like when all is said and done.

Sounds like one of the top guys. Do you think it’s indicative of personal issues with him, or inline with their normal shuffling of upper management when taking over?

maybe Arin is next…

If Mangrove was firing people for personal issues, Arin would be the first person to go. I’d guess that it had to do more with performance among other things. Given that Colby was one of those people who opted to sully my name and sling mud (as well as those two underlings in Sales), I am not disappointed that he is gone.

Dave

Was this the individual that was the brain child for developing downpipes for the almost 8 year-old RS4?

that’s not very nice

speculating on anyone’s termination isn’t great. Hopefully things work out for everyone.

I’d like to second this. crew219 certainly seems to have had legitimate gripes with APR and Arin, and I think everyone appreciates the info he has provided.

But we shouldn’t forget that Arin has also been helpful to a lot of people (myself included) and has provided some good information on here. I wouldn’t hope for his (or anyone else’s) termination.

Ultimately you have to wonder if you’ve been provided the correct and/or all of the information. There may be a few new individuals coming forward next week if certain concerns are not addressed.

Arin’s time has ran its course. The fact that he is incapable of offering an honest, sincere apology and taking accountability for his own actions speaks volumes. Might have to look @ QWOT for those references.
