In all honesty, he absolutely should be! He’s beyond shady on the forums and when you have current APR employees contacting you, warning you that Arin is hacking FB and email accounts, both inside and outside the company, you have a MAJOR problem on your hands. Arin was great in the early years, but over time, his ego has gotten way out of hand and he’s part of the reason APR was sold to Mangrove to begin with. He cries if he doesn’t get his way. For just being “the marketing guy”, his spending habits are out of control. His lies/threats and inappropriate comments towards others, prove the true person he actually is. He’s running on borrowed time for sure and he knows it without a doubt.
Ive been watching this thread since day one and I would like to make a few observations along with questions. First I have changed my normal log in because I’m not wanting to become the next victim of the admitted online bullying by Arin and Dave and whom ever else helps them to do this, I believe that’s a fair statement. The only reason this is all coming out is that one bad person (Arin) turned on another bad person (Dave) and this is his way of getting back. My first question is how does this exonerate Dave from his involvement in all these horrific attacks on people. He say its never personal but you can see by his past post’s and setup FaceBook pages that he totally enjoys ripping people apart going way over board. Also why hasnt he mention the other people he does with with and for like Joel Shurtz at APR. I have witnessed Joel and Arin talking about people they have Dave attack, when Joel first came to APR he was always talking with Arin and texting Dave about this type of stuff. I really laughed when I read Joels little statement against Arin apologizing for his behavior. Joel is just as bad as Arin, and again Dave carried this out for them. Dave does this mean you will come clean with a list of names that you have done this for? does this mean you will quit your online bullying? or is this really just another way for you to attack someone and say your doing it for the good of the community? Joel should be fired, and your Dave owe lots of people apologizes!
Why are people thanking dave for this information, he just confirms he is just as low as Arin and is no better now than he was then. He is still doing it with and for Joel but just now does it for one less person, Arin!!
If you’ve been attacked before, why hide you identity now? without any context behind your claims it looks like your just trying to discredit Dave. From my point of view he is the one being pretty honest here and has also admitted to carrying out attacks at the request of certain individuals.

Agree with Cloch. While I understand that several individuals have had issues with Arin, he has always been helpful when I’ve had issues. Crew has been providing us with some great information and is an asset to this site but I’ve always considered Arin the same.
I have not been attacked before, I hide my identity for two reasons, 1, as I previously stated I don’t want to become a victim of this behavior and 2, I don’t want to lose my job, If I gave my identity both would probably happen. I agree that Dave is being honest, but its only a half truth, He’s still doing it with other people. I’m asking is it going to stop or is this just a new way to slam somebody. Not that Arin doesn’t deserve it but I don’t think most of Dave’s victims do. I guess I’m asking more of a question but had to make a few points to do it.

I don’t think Dave is being ‘exhonerated’ in any way. Don’t forget, he has admitted this stuff, and will have to face people on the various forums now.
He has just shone the light on a lot of the organizational changes over at APR, and then this weird behind the scenes trolling by Arin (allegedly). I don’t think he has admitted to raping a small child here…he admitted to getting information from Arin, and then roasting people with that information. The information wasn’t made up or not genuine…that’s the other thing to not forget. It was just damning. nless I’ve misunderstood…

Hi, not sure who you are but I believe you have several misunderstandings about the situation.
What you’re referring to is really more pertinent to the other thread in the war room that I created regarding my dealings with Arin. Believe it or not, the mudslinging really only started to get bad in 2010 and onward. Over the past few years, Arin has taken comfort in our friendship and used it to start feeding me semi-truthful information that he would hope that I would post online. As I’ve indicated before in many other threads, I wouldn’t post anything unless I thought it was true. Obviously there have been mistakes made on my half and I have fully owned up to it. That other thread is more like a AMA “Ask Me Anything”.
As you can see, a few have asked publicly. Many more have contacted me privately. I have apologized to each and every one of those people for my actions in those instances (if I was even involved) and provided them with whatever evidence I may have if I was involved.

Notice how none of those individuals have come forward other than Halvie. Even Halvie isn’t fully coming forward since his vehicle is still not running correctly after being sent to APR.

At this point I’m pretty sure you don’t work for APR if you believe Joel and Arin are buddies that conspire together. Also, since Mangrove has gagged online interactions and IP addresses are easily traced, I doubt anyone there would make a post like yours.
re: half-truths . . . when I provide people full screenshots of conversations and allow them to come to their own conclusions, I don’t think that’s a “half-truth”

I didnt say i hope arin never finds work again but he should lose his job. however, IF you had an employee that has acted as arin has done AND you knew about it, your telling me that you would keep this person on? He goes out of his way to attack people and makes your business look like shit.
Were talking about a grown ass man, not a teenager. I would fire his ass immediately. Dave has posted numerous things with proof. Without a doubt he is a deceitful lying dirtbag. Maybe losing his job will wake his ass up. Doubtful though.

Most of the complaints against APR trolling have been from competitors and disgruntled former employees/customers but what about APR distributors and how they were treated? I am going to allow Mangrove/APR to hopefully sort out this mess before the cat is out of the bag.
Welcome to the internet. It is alot easier to sit behind a computer and talk smack about people you have never met in your life and probably will never meet. It is also extremely easy to turn on them as what do you have to lose? Another screen name on your shit list?
That being said , David called me and apologized for his actions and allthough some were fueled by himself , most were fueled by 3rd parties (mentioned in this thread). He was man enough to apologize and we moved on.
Based on the below:
I will be the first to get on the soap box and state that what Dave has brought to the community (VW/Audi) is transparency which many seem to overlook. Dont state a product is “Made in USA” when it is actually made in the far east. When you have 6 companies selling the EXACT same intercooler sourced from the EXACT same company selling it at different prices claiming “proprietary designs” then I welcome a guy like Dave to call a spade a spade.
I think Dave has learnt that the truth is somewhat skewed to tilt the scale on 1 parties favour which moving forward is probably the direction he will go .i.e. posting / hearing both sides.

I still wouldn’t wish ill on them. I wouldn’t care too much for them, but wouldn’t wish ill on them or their loved ones. But I’m not really a vengeful person. 
When I had my dealings with APR, I didn’t run into any of this drama. Sure, I had the “normal” delays where 2 weeks turned to 2 moths, but that was about it, at least from what I remember. I was never told by anyone at APR to troll anyone, the only thing I was told after receiving a turbo is “lay down a number”.
If I didn’t like a vendors’ product or services, I’d simply go elsewhere…and… life will go-on.
