APR has been sold to Mangrove Equity

Who said anything about guns? I was thinking lightsabers

I know, from my pic I look more of Chevy/Ford guy rather that “Audi”

Then go post on Chevy/Ford forums. Stop acting like a troll or gtfo.

+1

Thnx, PsYk. More karma for you. Always bringing a ton of class to AR with that amazing RS5

Edit: One day I will own one, just not sure when. I certainly love (and respect) the 4.2 V8 more than what I’m driving now…

In all fairness to Sam (18bora) . He was a great asset to the community and I purchased many parts from him when he broke down the Jetta. Never a fault with him so don’t let the internet persona cloud you. It takes alot of time to write the threads he was writing and you would be furious too if you spent hours compiling information and data for a thread only to have it disappear because it was related to amaeteur racing .At the same time the moderator (Stu) was a great asset to the community. In the end the community lost 2 great people so no one really won.

That being said Kyle Wright responded to my email (that I sent to Matt Young) yesterday night and the outcome was negative. He called my timeline of events “artificial” and maintains innocence with APR LLC. Now that the nail is in the coffin , I will go ahead and post my experience(s) and the way myself and my customers were treated by APR LLC. / APR Canada. I think 9 months is more than enough time for them to get there ducks in a row and realize they were at fault but I was foolish enough to believe they would somehow make it right.

Thank you
been a lurker for years but figured now was as good a time as any to post.

Looking forward to this one.

Kyle Wright is the Mangrove employee that took over Colby’s position after he was terminated. It is unfortunate that the people he has to go to in order to inquire about APR’s version of what happened with INA are the same people that are complicit in having INA removed for unjust reasons.

I look forward to your posting. Perhaps you can create a thread of your own so your experience doesn’t get lost in this thread. Hopefully your action will encourage other distributors that have been wronged to speak out against the giant.

Dave

I’d love to have this be another thread. There’s several different issues that all seem to be the topic of conversation in this thread. Its been a little different to follow.

I think I need a summary also, and less alpha male bs.

Please make a new thread. Looking forward to reading it.

What’s up Essam! until you brought it up, I’ve completely forgotten his name.

Anywho, I’m not involved in any of this shit-show and I’ve been out of VW’s/APR for a while. What brought me here is, this thread was linked through multiple threads on Vortex. Then the “personal issue” thread with Arin was linked through this thread. When you make all these threads and links, you should expect a few clowns to chime-in, no?

The other thing; so you really hate the guy now and you want to see him fired and all, but why post the unclassy pic of him and his wife? While I don’t really know Arin much and never met his wife, what does she have to do with any of this? <<< this is what really got me going.

That was golfmk6’s doing, along with all the gay Spiderman references. Perhaps you should make an account on there and yell at them?

Dave

Sam I agree,
His wife had nothing to do with it and should be left out the picture completely. I don’t hate Arin as hate is a very strong word. We spoke up until last week after which I was given the missing the information I wanted for over 9 months. When I received this information it proved that both myself , family members & my company were personally attacked. I have a pretty thick skin but once you involve family then expect professionalism to go out the door.

That being said , I have decided I will NOT be making my own thread but will merely contribute to this one since it is being watched by all.

Which is exactly what Arin was blackmailing that other unnamed tuner with in that other thread.

What made it pretty personal for me was getting word after everything happened with my vehicle that they knew that it was poorly assembled and that there were issues with it. The people involved openly admitted it to others who then relayed the information to me. The personal jabs from APR employees regarding being happy that my car was totaled were also disappointing to hear. Even when my car was there and being worked on, it was very obvious that things weren’t being handled in a professional manner. Other customer cars were treated in a similar way. Heck, some customers were even contacted by APR employees asking if it was ok to take parts off their cars (WTF).

^^ granted this is one of the tamer responses to seeing pictures of my car on Facebook.

Lolololololol WTF!

Hell they used your car for personal use?

Yep. Even have an email about trying to fit two pitbulls in the back. ::slight_smile:

I know my car wasn’t the only customer car that was driven around for personal use.

I’d be beyond furious had that happened to me.
Did you do anything about it?
