Awesome car Corbett…and it’s a fucking 6 spd!
Great sled Corbie! Any other pics? Would love to see them! What are your plans for this puppy? You should start by racing your buddy 8urv6! Only kidding, awesome find!
Nice RS6 with a sneaky 6 spd swap… that car needs its own thread, curious to know who did the swap, what clutch and what tune.
What’s sportec rs600?
Congratulations on that purchase. I think that while the rs6 has its troubles (Drc and timing belt job is a pain but I think those concerns are overblown) its good qualities far outweigh those two things.
I think you’re probably smarter than the rest of us. That’s a car that can be made into a supercar with literally a tune and a diy afternoon. (that’s from stock… Yours appears to be modded already)
Edot: oh snap… Is it ever!
So was that marc’s old car?
Höri b. Bülach (Zurich), March 2nd, 2004 – Presenting the RS600 Limousine with 600 HP and a torque of 680 Nm, Sportec underlines its leading position in the modification of Porsche and Audi. Because of its outstanding performance, the RS600 claims tobe the world champion in its class.
At the GenevaMotor Show 2003, Sportec has hit the national and international headlines introducing the world’s fastest estate, the RS550. After the consequent further development of the 4.2 l biturbo engine, the Swiss tuning specialist sets a new milestone. 600 HP output at 6500 rpm and atorque of 680 Nm at 3700 rpm catapult the RS600 from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 3.9 seconds. The maximum speed is reached at incredible 329 km/h.
High-technology at its best To complement the RS600’s powerful engine, Sportec has tuned and refined various other components, including the suspension, brakes, wheels and interior. Alloy eight-piston callipers with ventilated discs measuring a full 400 x 34mm at the front ensure optimum braking performance.
The suspension is tuned by Sportec in line with the more extreme requirements of the car: the pressure and suspension settings of the shocks have been modified, and the springs have been specially preset.
Ultra lightweight 9 x 20 inch alloy wheels Mono/10 The RS600 rides on 9 x 20” alloy wheels featuring Sportec’s special Mono/10 design. With a weight of only 12.7kg, it is the lightest 20 inch rim for Audi and VW and guarantees improved driveability thanks to lower unsprung mass. The wheel is manufactured using a special forging and milling process, making the new model extremely strong. The 255/30/ZR20 tyres are from Continental. The Sportec RS600combines aluxury limousine with a high-performance sports vehicle to create a super car suitable for everyday use.

Decided to make a thread though there is technically no sub forum for RS6 cars. haha
RS6 cars are so bloody rare. There are 4 for sale in Canada.
I see 3x as many RS4s as I do RS6, and to be honest I hardly ever see RS4s. There are more R8 5.2 convertibles in my town than RS6.
Awesome car. I’ve never driven or ridden in one. I came really close to buying one when I was selling my B7 S4 but I found it like looking for a needle in a haystack. They’re either 4000 kms away, or they’re nearby and have 140,000 KMs on them already.
V8A6 just recently bought one (member here) that had loads of problems.
p.s. what size are these turbos?
I’ve seen one RS6 …ever, some Marine officer on base rolled up in one and I acted like I saw a unicorn.
Of course I was with all of my buddies who love F-bodies, which you can see 50 on a slow day…so they had no clue what it was. It had wheels and suspension, but not much else because it was quiet. My one buddy said, “Dude your car sounds way better than that” I liked the complement, but inside I knew just how much of a beast that car could be.
In 8URV8’s defense. He couldn’t have gone. The last place that had his ECU did some damage to it. It required some fixing, and I mean fixing in many ways.

So many things about this car make it beyond a great car. congratulations
Thanks guys. I’ve been told they are re6 turbos with k16 wheels. Someone said they are basically lobs 700s or whatever. EPL put it on their dyno and it hit 490whp with 580ft lbs of torque
What’s funny about the rs6 is that both the b5 guys and the 4.2 guys seem to love this car. Maybe we can all get RS6s and get along lol.
good point… interior is more b5, body is kinda B6ish, motor is a v8 but with turbos.
Congrats on picking up quite the unicorn of a car
Yep. Biturbo V8 = unified enthusiast super sedan. Still leaves the weirdo b8 guys out on an island all alone ;D
I’ve always considered the RS6 the big brother of the B5’s. Twin turbo design and a similar front end make me think of the B5, though the interior is b6/7ish.
A good friend I do track events with owned one and holy fuck! It was a tip but it moved and moved well. I rode with him several times and well…I still haven’t stopped talking about it.
He sold it several years ago but it had quite a bit of work done in addition to the crazy vented hood. I wasn’t a fan of the hood but it served a purpose. I can’t find a picture but I attached an old link from AZ.
He had/has a very nice stable which still includes a B7RS4, V8R8 (all Stasis goodies) and a European version 997 GT3 cup car.

They are better off out there for now…
Very possible!
