Let’s get this going. Lots of us want to hit the drag strip and see how our recent mods or new cars stack up. Maybe a couple grudge matches in there too!

I’ll throw out the date as Sunday October 18th - its a test and tune day at TMP it seems, no scheduled events.

I should mention that I’d be up for any road (Wed/Fri evenings) or drag day or night (see schedule). I’m pretty close and would go if there were people. But I’m up north (Canadian) thanksgiving weekend, Oct 9-12, so it’s not happening for me…and I know a lot of people have commitments then too.

Thanks for including me on the invite list, but I’ll have to pass. I’d make the drive (4 hours to Toronto for me) for CTMP, but not for drag racing. My car is middle of the pack anyways :smiley:

How far out are you again? Like Oshawa? I’d be hitting the road course that day as well, although to trying get people out for a GTG it seems like you have to have a drag event. The fun part is meeting people on the board, and I’d be up to grab something to eat afterwards.

One thing I noticed, in the states when we met at ATCO, there were at least 20 guys but the average age seemed to be 30. Up here, the average age was more like 40.

I’m in Ann Arbor MI. I’ll wait till they have a good 2 day HPDE event, since I’d need to stay at a hotel or camp. Likely next spring. Something like what the BMW club puts on. I know you guys are probably beyond the hpde format, but I’m still pretty new to track driving and need the continuous instruction.

when we all met, the 4.2 guys were 25-35. Not sure on the 3.0T guys.

It’s nothing performance. Just something to make the car more interesting for me to drive, I fell out of love.

It’s ok with me, I am definitely in town next week but I’m not sure about the one after. But it’s not about me lol, I’m not even bringing an Audi. You’d be a big draw for sure.

Can I get a roll call? Who is considering coming either the 18th or the 24th/25th?

I’m going to Detroit I believe the following weekend for something similar, so I may opt out of TMP next weekend.

I’m also chasing a misfire with my car, so not sure dragstrip makes a ton of sense right now.
