Who’s going

friday = sunny and cool with a crosswind

saturday = raining and cold

sunday = mostly sunny and cold, chance of rain

^^^ Any chance of you or george?

0 chance of me
you’d have to ask george (2000S4)

That’s odd. I thought I had my orientation correct. Wind from the West I thought was tail wind? I guess it would need to be South West winds eh.

Yeah SW is a pure tailwind iirc
NW is a pure cross wind

I just got a call from my mechanic and he said that it was my front CV shaft that broke (Thank God). Im going to pick it up, Launch it and let you know guys if I’m good for tomorrow.

I just launched my car 3 time back to back, everything seems to be in working order but the weather doesn’t look to promising for tomorrow >:( .

tomorrow is supposed to be great, no?

Dang, I wish I saw this earlier. U guys still going? I would like to try out my lame stage1 car

Im defiantly going to go if the weather is good.

No need to be defiant about it

Whays your modlist? Can’t see it on Tapatalk

It is A 2000 Nogaro S4 B5 Stage 3 with BorgWarner K04’s, Auto Speed Fueling Kit, Auto Speed Tune, Siemens 630cc Injectors, AMD Stage 3+ Clutch w/OEM Flywheel, Evolution Racewerks Side Mount Intercooler, Piggies, Neuspeed 3" Exhaust, Tein Springs, Michelin Pilot Sport’s & Vent Boost Gauge.

Do you think you will come tomorrow?

In busy but there may be one or two audi guys there based on this thread

I called Cayuga and they said that the drag is open. Im aiming to get there for 12:00pm latest by 1:00pm.

Cayuga has the worst staff. I called to see if they are open, yeah sure they said they are but what she didn’t tell me was that its only an 1/8 mile. If I didn’t go on their website just now to double check I would of done a 1.5h trip for nothing.

Yeah they’re the closest to Toronto so they don’t really need to try. And they know it lol.

Why 1/8? Is half the track wet? Rained west of the city last night so that may be it.

They said 1/8 because it rained yesterday.

Sooo I gave in ended up going :stuck_out_tongue: . After a month of my car not being in my possession I had too.
I had a bunch of runs, Atleast 7. It was empty so I got to go back to back a few times in a row. The track is sooo much different then the street. I was spinning for days, It was getting quite annoying. I even lowered my tire pressure to 28psi, Maybe it wasn’t low enough, maybe I was launching to high, I dunno but I was pretty bad. I really wish one of you guys were there to give me some pointers because I defiantly wasn’t doing something right. The 1/8 was a good experience though. something I defiantly have to get better at.

My tires have A shit load tarmac stuck to them fml. On one of the launches it sounded like to front driveshaft was skipping (It sounded like a very bad grind) I thought at that moment I was going to have to call CAA, so I put it into reverse, Move forward off the track, Drove around the parking lot to hear if something is rattling or grinding, I heard nothing, Did another 1/8 run because I wanted to make sure it was safe to drive home and at that point if i had to Call CAA it better be worth it lol so I launch it one last time for the day everything was fine.

All around pretty sweet day!

What was your best 60’, 330 and 1/8? I can tell you what you might have done in the 1/4 if they weren’t such a bunch of pussies there.
