I have noticed that the vast majority of all the knowledgeable former active Audizine members are now here and unfortunately Audizine is now full of uneducated biased ignorant (trisomy 21 downers) members.
What happened over there?

This site has great people that are knowledgable and wanting to help who are not full of drama and BS.
Very much agree with both of you…I like reading AZ for a laugh though…
All the sites have their merits.
Hopefully the guys who own this one will continue to build on a solid membership and drive the knowledge base.
It’ll never be the biggest site…more does not mean better like the big sites.
It will also not sell out to drive growth like some of the other startup sites that went wrong
I just know that its a cool setup. Now that I’ve changed the colours (you can customize it) the site is perfect!
I’ll take this any day over some of the other sites. I prefer relevant information by people who know what they are talking about instead of nonstop arguments from bench racers. Plus it’s nice to not have to deal with the raging engineers who like to argue through incorrect equations and theory, as opposed to real world data, I deal with that enough as it is.
So sane people good, rambling people bad. ;D I love this place.
I think AR is a consolidation of like minded people from the other forums. Which is what makes it somewhere I like to post. Plus there are some seriously expert people here. Plus this is the only place I know of talking so enthusiastically about the A4 3.0 program, which I have no personal interest in, but find very exciting.
AZ still has its place in my forum activities. It certainly has volume if nothing else, plus active B6/7 A4 forums which are useful for interior/exterior mods. And who can fault some of the drama over there for entertainment value?
EA seems to have gone a bit quiet which is a shame because I quite liked it. QW’s format drives me nuts. audiforum.ca is another site with reasonable activity. And please don’t hate me, but I like VW Vortex for the VW bits (have mk1 and mk6 GTI’s). And there’s always interesting characters over there!

I think all of the posts so far really touch on my thoughts. I love this site for its ease and humble members. Nothing worse then the raging net engineering wanta bees. I’ve read some posts on AZ and you can see guys posting stuff and hoping that they can sound smart enough to fool people who don’t know better.
Other sites are full of guys posting looking to look smart or to pimp there E statous. Here members post to find out real info. Even those members who know still are humble about there responce to questions or when adding info
AR is also much easier to visit on my netbook because there aren’t any banner ads. Which is great. Although I do understand the need for advertising. I don’t feel some of the commercial interests here that I feel on other sites. Some of the AZ drama arises when a member has beef with an advertiser. I think it was an APR clash that got saki banned from AZ IIRC.
I think a low profile on the commercial front (like it is now) will certainly enable more open and honest discussion.
I think it was a couple of things that got me gunned
I don’t know what the intentions of this site are but looks like it’s going well.
Another thing I like about the site software is the way it tells you if a new post has appeared while you’re submitting your own post, just in case the more recent post influences your own. I don’t think another of the others do that.
Thanks guys. Remember this site is built by you guys. We make more changes as it becomes possible.
I would like to throw this out there for issues in the future.
I want to call it the war room. Or something like that… The idea is when two or more members get into a spat and it turns off of the main topic. The members get there posts put into the war room. When then the members can battle it out. This keeps the posts more on topic and less cluttered with those that are just 10 people trying to educate one member that can’t or wont say admit he is wrong.
Also this site is run off a seniority merit and contribution status. If a troublesome member comes in with the sole intention to spew endlessly or to start trouble. I would like to give members that ability to tag the posts in a way where if enough members tag the post, It can be deleted or maybe a big Tag can be added with something like this is not a factual post. Something along those lines.
I would love to hear your thoughts.

i like this site… coming from a few different vehicles (DSM’s subies, Evo) i noticed that most of the smaller sites are the best ones for info and just good str8 up Tech.
Just remember KISS method (keep it simple stupid…lol) and this place will get a lot better.
I have found much better content and member interaction over here. There is less look at my rim posts so the post count isn’t the highest.
I also like the fact that you have a say sienority wise. That is a great way to keep the like minded thrend going.
I also love the features and the fact that new members can come here and ask what ever they wish while not getting made fun of and told to go search

Ahh. . . I remember that post, it was quite epic!
I can directly relate to sak’s problem. I got another infraction and a 3 day ban from SoCalS4Avant aka the Nazi mod. I got that infraction from telling ECS that they were misinformed from ST that there is a coil-over for the S4.
Over then next few weeks I will be recruiting as many members as possible over here. Let’s try to keep off the dumb asses like crabpot and checkered. Guys like that are cancer to the forum and putting them in there place is frowned upon on Audizine.

That brings up something else I’m allowed to talk about on here: Joey Cuccaro is a crook. DaveD will attack me when I say that saying that “Joey created DIY’s what have you done”. But what you may not know is that his motive to make those DIY’s was to drive traffic to his site. But then his car got scored cylinders so he sold it as mint and got a gt3(look under my avatar lolz). Now he just uses the resources he has (DIY’s) and the site to lure in traffic. He makes moeny from the advertisers, which he now puts in front of members-something he promised not to do…boy did that change.
He also makes a good chunk of change by parting out cars. I won’t mention names on here but there were several loyal members who’s S4’s unfortunately make the scored cylinder lady sing. Joey bought their cars for DIRT CHEAP with a promise to make timing DIY’s and the like. Has anyone seen that timing chain DIY that he promised a year ago? I haven’t seen it.
The RS4 forum on there is dead. The S4 forum sees maybe 5 new threads a week. Now it’s just joey and DaveDbag creating threads about watches and shit to keep traffic up.
So there you have it. Two forums that are there to make money-two forums that are a horrible habitat for dedicated enthusiasts.
