I need lte though…
I would have to buy it because I am not eligible timewise for another free phone

LTE - nice! I guess you had the late s2? How are the speeds?
Swype on the S2 is the real genuine SWYPE program. Samsung doesnt own the rights to swype, its a 3rd party program they incorporated in their phones for years.
On the S3 samsumg decided to make their own version of swype. Its really not as good. Well my only beef with the samsung version is you cant swap words like you can with swype. Example if you want to write car, but it corrects you to cat. You can just hold your finger on the word cat and swype gives you replacement options. The native samsung one doesnt so you have to go back, erase and re-write.
As for the button as BWT said you have a physical button to depress. The front is just a bit cleaner with just 3 buttons. Not sure why they put the search button on there. I dont know anyone who uses that button lol. All you have is the menu, home, back buttons.
If you dont have one already Rogers had some promotion again for 6 gig LTE data plans. Upgraded the wifes plan. 6 gigs for 30$. Thats the price for 500 megs normally lol.
Changing to Wind for $29/no for unlimited text, “unlimited” aka 5gb data, unlimited local calls. Will use youmail for VM, skype to go for long distance. The only place I go regularly without Wind coverage is the 401 and I’m usually driving. The missus is on Wind and she gets reception in many places I don’t. Even Peterborough is covered now.
thanks for the recommendation, I’ve gave dolphin mini and shot and its a solid improvement over the stock browser
No problem
I believe it is the only one that has tabs that you can always see…making switching or closing tabs really easy.
Its nice and quick and easy too and doesn’t get hung up by many of the plug ins needed for other browsers like Firefox. Apparently you can get google chrome now too.
We need an Android thread.
