badtoyz build thread.

Yup. I can confirm that. I made the same mistake once on my headlights. I didn’t take it as far apart as you, but I was emailing Fly300kts on AZ and that’s what he told me. I shipped him my headlights for the LED strip upgrade and also had him repair the damage. He had to get a part from France or something (at least what he told me). But he did get them working normal again. I’d be interested to see some pictures of the part though.

Yeah, I’ve seen a few come back broken, and it’s usually the frame around the projector, which you can’t really fix/replace, so you wind up with a spare-part headlight.

Instead of going straight to e-codes, if you want to take on the work, pick up clear corners from flykits, new lenses from the retrofit source, and paint your headlight reflector/surround to suit. At that point, your lights will actually be better than e-codes in regards to light dispersion and aesthetics (depending on your paint scheme).

Already done lol.

I used stealth bulbs for the corners and just removed the orange lens all together. I then vagged out the amber running lights so the only time the corners light up is for signals. I love the way they look now. Painting that chrome trim piece inside makes all the difference in the world.

god damn you move fast

Looks much better that way. Almost mean looking. Do you have a before and after to show off just how dramatic the change is…

i may have ill look through my pics and see if i can find something that shows it well.

so my 02 code is back again but this time i have 4 faults on one sensor. im looking for any ideas as to why i keep getting this from one sensor. its really starting to piss me off.

All those codes say the 02 is bad or not reading in the pipe properly. But the heater code usually tells you the health of the 02. Check to make sure the 02 is in right and check the 02 wires. They can get really twisted when you install the sensor. Most people that get 02 codes not long after installing 02s have done some damage on the install. The other failure is usually from the cheaper outsorced sensors that are boxed as OEM

i think crappy o2s is the case. im gonna try one from the dealer. this will be o2 number 4.

on another note. what are the symptoms of a failing clutch master. i believe mine is on the way out. the pedal does not return fast enough when let out but only up in high rpm. it feels soft and sticky when im trying to do a pass.cruising around it feels fine.

I was pointed in the direction of these: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B000BZG8ZU/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1438167067&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=bosch+oxygen+sensor&dpPl=1&dpID=41N1R6PHGWL&ref=plSrch

Search for Bosch 15733 if the link doesn’t work. I had the same code and these sensors did the trick.

;D Nice man… ran into you the other day at Crosby.

welcome. We made fun of you for doing mud donuts in another thread. Don’t take it personally lol.

How are you enjoying your car?

thanks.

Mudding? i only ones went out on a friends grass lawn drifting around ones, that one? it was a drunken rally course setup that did not work out to well.

welcome… You should make a thread about the car. We saw your mudding video lol or the drunken rally circle. It was not something you see every day.

I’ll get foreign auto to order me one of those. Like I said they are a Bosch dealer so it will be free. Thanks man.

Hey bud. U gonna order the stage 1 kit after looking through my thread?

Would be pretty dope to have 2 phantom black jhm stage 1 cars so close together.

Ya most definitely i am down to get it, looked promising watching all the usa guys with there kits. Just not sure when… soon i hope cause waiting to grab an RS7 will be some time. Our cars aint bad on power but they just need those extra few 100hps

Agreed. Rs7 will be out of my price range for a long time too lol.

LOL I think its out of many of our ranges for quite some time. Still Adding the JHM stage 1 will give you performance just like the RS7 so thats cool
