Bank 1 post cat too lean. Do I have a leak somewhere, another front or rear 02 going bad?

Picked up a new roof box for the winter season. About time to throw the stockers with winters on for the season.

Do you have any freeze frame data from the code. That will help tell more of the story.

this car needs more attention

It got some maint. Rear O2’s replaced. See what pops up now.

Big concern is again, the sc oil came out strawberry quik like. Moisture is getting into the unit somewhere/how. Its frustrating. No metal bits this change like last time so progress.

Please share some ideas as to where and how this is happening. Any and all help and ideas are appreciated.

I will likely bring the car to Phoenix this winter to make some passes.

New Pending codes p2196 and p2198 front 02 signal too high (rich) on both banks. I have tried to click on “display freeze frame” but option is ghosted out and won’t activate. Real ross tech cable and up to date version. Not sure why I can’t get the freeze frame to work?

No cel after rear 02 replacement however. 2 weeks now without one. Longest run thus far.

Should note these only popped up after doing a drive readiness set procedure which passed all monitors. While I was dinking around with vcds after scanning and checking readiness monitors passed, i was going through measuring blocks 032 - 038 looking at fuel trims and noticed b1s1 and b2s1 tests not ok. Flip back to fault codes and there they were pending. Again, only at idle did this occur.

Still something funky going on. The front 02’s were replaced during sc install. And i have no more than 10k miles on them. This has been one little nagging thing after another and the car has never been 100% since getting it back.

When you get the codes see if you can just copy the data vag com gives you as far as RPM load etc on when the code poped up.

LTFT stuff can be weather dependent and altitude dependent as well. Try checking the SFTF and LTFT and see if they are adjusting and moving around. It would be helpful to know how they track over the span of a few days

Its weird, Justin. These codes only appear to surface as pending under idle conditions.

18630 P2198 B2S1 too high (rich)

Looking at mb 032, sensor readings are 0% across board. Which is not normal

Cleared codes and 032 reads
-3.8 / 11.8 / -3.0 / 7.9

Seems my short term while “rich” is in spec +/- 10%
But long term is above (bank 1) or approaching out of spec (bank 2) and lean.

Again, the front 02’s only have 13k miles on them as they were replaced and new during s/c install. I dont want to just continue throwing parts at this car especially if they should not be shot already. Frustrated!

Did you have this issue at all this summer. Is this something that has come with just the cooler weather… have you done anything different to the car recently.

No, i had rear 02 sensor issues all summer. Got those replaced with brand new oe units and then this new stuff started up. So yes the new rear 02s are different. They are new since the updated tune to help with my maf issues early spring. Any chance the tune is freaking out trying to compensate now that all sensors are finally fresh, new and reading proper.

Unfortunately I dont have anything with respect to lambda data reading from summer.

Cleared codes last week. Same popped up today. Check that, now they are both banks too lean. First too rich, then too lean, next?

LTFT is no good

Too lean. That dosent make any sense. How long have you had LTFT codes for. You said summer but were they all rich codes. and just now you got lean codes
