I could be wrong but that is the carbon version of the Cupra lip offerd by Spoon Fed Racing. I had one and tore it to shreds but have another one untrimmed waiting to be installed.

Are you using Poly or Epoxy for your resin system?
Normally we use epoxy but on these seat backs I made for me I used COREVE8100-50 infusion grade vinyl ester.
How about an ebrake handle?
That and shift knob way too complicated for the outcome.

I was hoping he could be able to make a grille with no filler plate but he hasnt answered yet. (even it wasnt carbon fiber id buy). He is probably busy. Hoping to get an answer soon.
A grille would be super complicated to mold the honeycomb, let alone try to trim it once it’s done. Lots of casting flash inside all the mesh part. It would be a nightmare to do. We are 30 days from leaving to world finals in lake havasu. Way too much going on with that side of the biz right now. Once I get back we will be full steam on audi parts.
How hard would it be to get a proper insert made to do a sunroof delete like this one?
Anybody thought of doing this on a B7?

What is the point? to shave 50-100lbs off of one of our nose heavy pigs? Unless you just really don’t want a sunroof I guess.

He’s right though. -25lbs for the RS4 hood, -60lbs for the relocated RS4 battery to the trunk, -5/10 or so lbs (x2) for the fenders. It adds up.
i like my sunroof but if someone was making a more track dedicated car then the sunroof delete would be cool.
Already have the CF hood… i have plans to ditch the back seat and swap in a pair of Recaro CF seats in the front… 20lbs here, 30lbs there… eventually it ads up the difference you feel when driving your car with a few people in it vs driving it alone… its noticeable. Plus i never drive with teh sunroof open… the shade pulled back, yes, but never with it fully open. I could absolutely get by without it.
