Chit Chat

My ECU and TCu should arrive on Thursday…so I call dibs on third tune ;D ;D ;D

okay so I’m running lean on bank 2, I’m also burning oil, any advice before i take it into the shop? I didn’t have this problem untill i took it in for a tune up and it comes back to me like shit. when I was in for a tune up they did my fuel filter and replaced some vacuum lines and said my injector harness was loose on i think #5 or something i forget but they fixed that so I’m assuming they put new harness on but who knows. I think I need a another mechanic cuz I was just kinda testing this shop out see what kinda skills they have and it looks to me like they might of failed. lol which sucks cuz they are supposed to be a good shop…

for something like this I would start a new thread so more people see it.

From my experience it sounds like your going to want to go to a new shop. If its running lean on bank two and the shop said they replaced some vac lines they must have messed something up because a lean code generally means a vac leak. also burning oil could possibly be from them doing damage to your PCV system.

apparently the pins might be damaged on injector b2 and a new harness from dealer is about 1300. I found one on ebay for 350$. I’m just wondering what wold cause the pin to be damaged. Initially when I took it in to the shop they said the harness was loose and they put it back in place I guess.

thanks shawn! … I looked under the hood and one of the hoses had come loose and I cleard the code so we’ll see if it comes back but I think the problem is fixed.

On another note, car is going to the body shop tommorrow!!! This is going to suck not having a car for a week.

WE NEED A new thread for this

I watched them chip that ;D lol. Now get that sucker in and go play!

way to rub it in Zingo lol…

Must be nice to be able to take out the TCU :P… sigh

Hey Rod thats awesome you got to see them do that, maybe next time you are there you could snap some pics of the JHM’s workshop if it is alright with them and you of course. I would love to see what their place looks like

You’d be really suprised. Not knocking them at all, but man they create world class things in tight quarters. Can’t wait to see the new place!

thats why i am curious to see where the gods of the Audi world work at.

It seems all the really good stuff comes from small workshops. After reading the history of AWE Tuning on AZ and seeing the pictures of their first workshop, its was a one car garage and to where they are now I think is really cool.

Lout - You just want to see my body  HAHA! jk. As far as shop pics, i’ll see what i can do.

Motorsports - the new place is top notch! I could go on about it but i dont want to spoil. in a few months you will be in awe. But yes, I can’t staind how much they get done with that space. I remember when they first moved there, ahhh there was so much room lol.

These guys put in some amazing hours for us and everyone else. All there energy and hard work comes from everyone that supports them, thats what thrives this company to push harder everyday to give you the best results possible.

JHM…Enough said.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - totally - jk…that would be awesome…cheers

Do tell ;D

It seems just buying there products is just not enough to show our appreciation, I wish there was more.

Yep…

the 3.0 is pretty exciting because the cars can be had for a very reasonable price. it’s going to be fun watching JHM hammer the f&*k out of these shop cars lol.

Great to see so much 3.0 activity on this site. Keep at it boys, and keep those 1.8T guys guessing…they’re worried.

I agree.

Damn motorsport! You have some nice toys.

That is a really well done video. Do you have some more detailed pictures of the Camaro?

I do. Actually planning on doing a shoot with it in the next few days after the rain. I’ll post a link to them when I do.
