I feel like the traps are pretty comparable to any other tracks. If you look at our list specifically, V8RyanS4 and I had nearly identical times (60, ET, trap) at coastal and those times are very similar to cabracco’s 12.8 run.

I also know from running my F150 about 20 times or so that I was running the same trap speed as similarly modded trucks around the country.

Coastal isn’t cheating skyfaggot out of MPH, but we will probably never find out what is. He is probably still hitting his fucking brakes at the scoreboards.

I notice you post on other car threads in this site. Yet you reveal nothing of your expertise except stars and a meaningless raring number. What does your S4 turn in the 1/4 mile. I’d wager you don’t even own one do you? Also, all, if you want me to clean up my alleged bad behavior try doing it yourself as well. Just saw this post. So that is what you call proof? We all know Primetime has a fast car. You must know there are numerous variables. One car with headers and one without is far from any real research justifying a complete flaming of headers. Again, a picture is worth a thousand words. I’ll write this again. I am not taking them off. The cost is prohibitive.

Ed, Saki owns an RS4 and not a B8 S4, but that is irrelevant in the conversation and advice he and others are trying to provide… Yet you seem to ignore any points that aren’t related to traction when in reality there is a lot of good advice being offered regardless of what car people drive…

Your trap speed is way way low for your mods yet you don’t want to discuss that for some reason? Do you not see all of the others who have gone to the various strips throughout the US/Canada and posted way higher trap speeds, some with better and some with worse ET’s… Yes, your 60ft time may improve 5 hundredths and you may eek into the 11’s but something is not right with your car since the traps are not in line with others…

Can you do some data logging? Something is not right on the top end with your tune do you have any interest in figuring it out? If not then I’m pretty much done here, not that you care…

Yeah you’re right Skywagon, Primetime actually made a back door deal with Audi to get a unique B8 S4 that’s faster than everybody else’s so he could use that to provide everybody, especially you, with false data about the headers. Ignore the fact that 2 B8 S4s went to the same track, same day, with the same mods except for the headers, and the headers car was still slower despite weighing 200+ lbs less than the non headers car.

By the way, that picture is making your headers bad. Terrible work.

Ed, I really don’t want to debate the headers again… Eurotrash did a poor job in designing them and the stock setup is good which is why the headers yield little to no power gain, believe what you want… Me vs Imola same day same track, same tune and mods is about as good a test as you’ll get… Like was mentioned it was also gutted interior wise so he should have killed me, didn’t happen… Then Jeff and I went but he ran the GIAC tune and all other mods were about the same with him having headers, again I won 4 out of 5 races… Pete’s dad’s car is the fastest S4, period and guess what he runs STOCK CATS! Since you are so hell bent on proving as wrong please provide some support that these do work and not just gossip from how the work on other cars and such… Facts about our platform… I won’t hold my breath since no data showing they do squat exists and like I believe Euro mentioned your car supports the fact that they don’t work even more… Sigh!

Hi Ron, and Merry Christmas. Thanks for the response. Yes obviously there is something that is not right. I’ve agreed to plug the hole in the hood, turn off the meth and possibly lower tire pressures even more. I have done some logging but will do some more if you like. Some how, when I e-mailed them you did not get them. I don’t know what else to do nor has any real suggestion been made except those three. Some how people think I’m supposed to respond positively to their name calling and vulgarity laced posts. God, I’ve even been called a “Racist”. I’ll try and find my logging e-mail and re-send it to you. If you want more logs I’ll do them. Again, thank you.

Ed, Merry X-mas to you… Go to the strip, plug the hole, turn of the meth, setup the laptop with logging on for boost, bypass, timing, retard in a few cylinders, and IAT’s… Make a pass and save the file, repeat 5-6 times… This will allow us to figure out what is wrong… No it’s not the headers I realize that, I hate to say it it’s most likely how Revo tunes… My bet/guess is they are dumping all your boost at the top of the track… Meth could have been the problem as well, but will know since you won’t be running it… If no boost dump and no meth you should trap 116+ otherwise the logs will tell what is what… There is your solution… Let’s make it happen…
