The sound of the v10 is definitely intoxicating. With all the new cars going turbo, I think these awesome sounding NA engines may be a thing of the past pretty soon.
What are they going to do when high performance cars are fully electric? Youll probably be able to pick a soundtrack from the comfort of your drivers seat, letting you choose from thousands of different cars from years past, to play on an external loudspeaker.
Up until recently, new car models have always seemed to be progressing. But I think history will show that the sports cars from about 2005 to 2015 were the last of a breed in many ways. Large NA engines, manual gearboxes, unmuffled natural exhausts, non-electric steering, are all going to be extinct pretty soon (or already are on some iconic sports car models).
The new cars will go faster and faster, for sure. But the driver engagement is lessening with every new model. Everything is getting less raw, and more video-gamey. Damn…if I wanted to play a video game then I would go buy a Playstation.

I ran twice the other one wasn’t as good think it was an 8.3 or something. I’ll post “the whole slip” when I get home but i think they cut them in half that Grudge racing night. My car ran like shit when I ran it last time like I said it was heat soaked from running the whole time sitting in staging lanes, Felt like it was broken off the line because it was obviously pulling timing etc. Car was cooled off before the runs this time. Had some race gas and other tweaks to help the 60’ improve a ton. MPH was unexpected at least that much

Some questions…
- Since you are being purposely vague, I need to hear you say, ‘this is the timeslip from my 1/8th run in my v10 S6’
- Did you use nitrous on the car, yes or no?
- Describe ‘other tweaks’ in detail. Exactly what changes did you make to get this time?
- When will you be following up with a 1/4 mile slip and matching video showing the car and time?
There was no mention of race gas the other day, just like we still have not heard you say that you are running nitrous. Why are you comparing your race gas 1/8th run to a 1/4 mile pump gas runs, without any mention of the fuel?
Your 1/8th timeslip is only part of the proof. Followup with the 1/4 mile run and video, and details of exactly what mods you had. If you are going to take shots at all the "Audi Master Techs’ and the “braniacs” you’re going to have to provide solid proof of the 1/4 mile run and a detailed list of mods.
Regardless this isn’t 1/4 mile. Clearly a few things don’t add up. I think we would all like to think the S6 has lots of potential and that It’s capable of good times.

also the slip says Friday grudge night but the date is on a Thursday. More confusing was you said they cut the slip but why would they do that it wasn’t a grudge night at the track on Tuesday it was ricekiller.com night. What was the other track you went to for the first slip. And why would you go to a different 1/8th mile track.
I honestly don’t care. We all know the S6 has potential. Until we see a few repeated 1/4 mile times from different cars it’s all just water

You guys are hilarious. I never said I ran on the same setup the second time and yes I am being vague on what mods I’ve done. Even if I was to say what was all done you all would just say I was lying or whatever else. Northstar is closer to my home in Frisco and is also a better track. You’re correct it was a Thursday my mistake. The other track is in kennedale and is kind of ghetto. I stopped in randomly like I said in posts before. I was on the way home from my grandparents house down south. By honestly why the hell does it matter? I can’t goto different tracks??? The 1/4 mile track is much further than both of those. It’s in Ennis Tx. I’m not trying to prove anything to you guys. The fact that you guys are getting so butt hurt is mind boggling. I have nothing to prove I’m sorry I chimed in my opinions thought that’s what forums were for. Not to post experiences then have a firing squad try to pick them apart.

I said “Post the whole slip” from the start of this conversation, because I know how people work. You’re basically claiming the fastest S6 time ever, even if it is just the 1/8th.
The slip is clearly folded, not cut. Now that you lied about that it makes me wonder why?? Could it be that the other side of the slip is actually your S6 time? If you ran more than once, show us both slips with the same car number for verification.
I get that you’re a vette guy and it’s hard to be the fastest, but you can’t just claim one of the best times we’ve seen and not expect us to take it seriously. If you honestly ran this time, we would like to know with what mods so we can set it as a benchmark for others to compare to. That is the point of our list.
But people lying or trying to deceive everyone is pointless. We really aren’t butt hurt and don’t give a shit how fast or slow your car is, but when you make a claim you shouldn’t be surprised we asked for proof. Thanks for posting this slip. I wasn’t trying to be a dick about the other slip. Some things didn’t add up and when you jumped in with such an attitude people are going to ask.
The only last issue I have is you said this was your other run from the same day you only got two runs but this slip has a date on it two weeks earlier. So it’s not getting better for you this looks even worse.
That is a different date and car number??
