Flashed the IE Stage 1 tune tonight, quick butt dyno run suggests big bump over 4k RPM. Will run logs after 100 miles or so to adapt

Better photo of the shift knob, hoping theyā€™ll do a matching ebrake handle

slam beers, tune car, road test!

looks like a MADD commercial lol

howā€™s the logging and acceleration testing coming?

Lol didnā€™t think of how the chronology would look, thankfully those were all different days.

Got logs from the tune I need to upload, decent bump in acceleration despite the high DA recently.

Going to change my plugs and coils this weekend and run another set. Going with a 1 heat range cooler plug.

Also think my PC may shot, had an inexplicable drop in fuel economy a while back. Iā€™ve got a Spulen catch can kit to put on but I want to do it after the plug/coil logs so I can compare.

Post tune logs

are the before logs posted underneath?

ah nevermind, just saw the date.

picked up about 25-30 RPM/sec? in much worse DA. IATā€™s are quite different.

750ish vs. 2250 ish . Big diff.

Stalled out on the highway last night, turns out the MAF was dirty (installed a VWR intake back in May). Blew it out with brake cleaner and its back to normal.

Also decided to throw in the plugs and coils I had sitting on the shelf. One of the coils looked close to quitting.

So cylinder count going back in the right direction. What about the winter do you have a winter beater still.

Haha, quite the change!

Great color, look forward to hearing your impressions. I havenā€™t been out in one of the new generations yet, but the styling is so much better than older generations that Iā€™d actually consider owning one of the new ones.

Canā€™t wait to hear more feedback and additional pics!

Moved down to the Tampa, FL area, no more winterā€™s for me.

Way better daily than old generations, the comfort and interior quality is substantially better. Itā€™s about comparable to my Golf, if you go 3LT trim it gets semi high end.

Havenā€™t really pushed it too hard yet, just putting around commuting.

Cool! Look forward to seeing more of it and a droptop in FL is definitely the right choice! Hope you enjoy the Tampa area and the new job treats you well.
