[QUOTE=El Romano;8590659]I believe i made the fastest and quickest(if that makes sense) on a 6MT with stock pulley.

Only mods are Stasis resonator-back exhaust(stock DP and Mid-pipe), Strat Intake and REVO 100tune with 110/93 mix(not sure about the mix)

Best run was 12.06@118mph, next 12.08@117mph both 1.8xx 60ft. Only two runs i had low 1.7xx 60fts i missed 3rd due to a slipping clutch, messed-up flywheel and notchy crap stock shift linkage…

BTW, i bought the car slightly used last May, with a messed up clutch. SO i have been dealing with this clutch for some time. I took it apart at my shop( Euro-Enginuity in Winterville, NC) and it looks horrible!! I have those pics to post here as well lol! proof that i could be in the 11s all day long…

One other thing to add is this car made 436WHP@7074RPM/367TQ@4407RPM with same mods, 100oct tune (110/93 mix)

I have all the slips, and dynos!!! Not sure how to post them here… if anyone cares to help, i would appreciate it!

Cheers!

(edited for dyno info)

Maybe some of you will have fun with this, maybe not. I know REVO 100 doesn’t work at all, and so do a couple others here. Tribe also couldn’t get REVO 100 working, it was slower than his REVO 93 runs.

What forum is that from?

I don’t doubt if those numbers are real but only thing i find weird is him having a working 100 octane file. In all our testing, no matter what gas we used the 100 octane file was always slower than the 93 file. What forum did you see this on? 11.9 is 100% feasible on Revo with that aggressive ass tuning.

How long ago did your dad get the Revo tune? Has he had any updates since?

If those numbers are legit, WOW! But first I will need to see the slips and vids that he references. Coming from a disappointing day at the track myself, those numbers only add insult to injury . . .

How bad was your injury?

LOL - not literally. I’m uploading videos now and will start a thread. A6 times coming as well.

Some of their work can be found here…

Yeah shop sounds fishy after reading that wolf, thanks. REVO 100 was good for 12.5@114, I’d have to check my slips again though. There was NO bottom end, the car only came alive in 4th when timing settled down from 40 degrees advance to something like mid-low 30s, this is at 13-ish psig.

Silentbob saw the logs and said its way beyond MBT so it was no surprise that the car was losing power (and worse).

And many have heard the story, as have I, about REVO 100 pinging so badly on both the Green car and the Long Island car that everyone demanded an explanation from the helpless GM from REVO.

I have doubts that the story from El Romano is true, and the REVO version I know was the latest at the time, right after REVO fixed LC and the 2-3 shift clutch slip. Basically as they were merging with Stasis.

Why hasn’t the thread been linked?

Also when you went whatever at whatever, wasn’t it mid summer? Hardly a good proxy for what it could do. Didn’t you also have a trans problem?

Ok, I’ll link the thread, but it’s in the 1/4 mile sticky on AZ. I’ll edit in a sec.

I went in May, DA was around 1600 IIRC. The trans issue (Mechatronics) was afterwards.

EDIT: links added to OP.

Notice the first post claiming an 11.9@114, lol that was his first post on AZ back in December. weird.

Then last nights post, claiming 12.06 just after a bunch of us had some fun with Thommy Thai on the GIAC vs REVO thread. lol that is still going on? hahahahaha

His latest post leaves me more skeptical: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/400241-Official-1-4th-Quarter-Mile-Drag-Strip-Times?p=8593158&viewfull=1#post8593158

Initially he had ALL of his slips and dynos (3 exclamation points). Now, he’s wondering whether he “can find them” . . .

Kevkev, anyone?

Hey if you guys find out when he runs to “break 11s” again, I wouldn’t mind driving out to Fayetteville to watch and shoot some undercover video. He better hurry up with his clutch though because as soon as it gets hot and humid down here he is fucked for trying to break any records.

Also, euro engenuity is an air bag lovers shop…that’s also the shop that fucked my buddy Ryan over on his timing chain job, I doubt they will be in business for very long.

Yeah, he claimed 11’s and now posting his 12’s? Seems goofy to me… I doubt he ever went 11’s… Another kevkev, blazenblunt, or ITguys buddy… LOL…

sounds like revo from all the other stories I’ve heard

He posted plenty of backup. looks legit.

Only thing that is not legit is his claim that the other runs would have been 11 second run if his clutch didn’t slip in 3rd. If you look at his 330 numbers on those, the first one would have been a 12.1 but the second one might have squeaked into the elevens. The weird thing is his 1/8 times were terrible…on pace for 12.5 on both (which is what he ran). I guess he meant when he shifted from 2nd to 3rd? I thought he was saying from 3rd to 4th.

I reckon he just messed the shift up. If he launched it that hard, and ripped through 2nd gear to cut those 5.0 and 5.1 330 times, his clutch was fine (as fine as it could be)…but I bet the 2-3 (hardest shift on the track) is where he went awry and just blamed the clutch.

Unfortunately for him we don’t post up might have times! I have added his best time to the list though (12.06 @ 117)

Saki, I have no doubt he ran the low 12’s but as J pointed out he claimed to have gone 11’s previously… Maybe I missed it but I haven’t seen that slip posted?

Yeah, there’s no chance he went 11.9 @ 114 previously (nor are we posting it lol) because

  1. it’s not possible on a B8 S4. Need more MPH
  2. he posted that he has the new record (his 12.06) for a manual car…however ignored his previous claim of an 11.9
  3. he hangs out with the scheisters at euroenginuity

So I reckon it was a dynolicious time or something entirely unofficial.

If someone made an offside claim in the past without backing it up (although he never said 'I went to the dragstrip and ran 11.9, but a dog ate my timeslips), it doesn’t negate all future times. It just means there needs to be some scrutiny. His numbers all check out for a B8 S4 MT6, and that’s a quick track being literally in the ocean.

Back to the track for me next week to get my title back  although I’m still the quickest on pump

I think your title is far more interesting for what its worth. Besides If that REVO tune is as bad as jspazz and his confidentiality agreement say it is, I think you don’t want to earn the title with REVO100.

p.s. if someone signed a confidentiality agreement about blowing their motor on REVO 100 , you can’t say ‘I blew my motor on REVO 100 but I can’t speak about it because I signed a confidentiality agreement’ (paraphrased the AZ posts). That in itself violates the agreement. You may want to edit that post.
