We should get a few events set up this spring, summer, fall in Canada and Michigan! That would be fun! It would be cool to get a bunch of people there, any of the Audis, or other rides. We could rent the track and set it up so everyone does not have to come out of pocket but they have a bunch of fun and put in a bunch of passes. What are peoples thoughts? Would people be up for this?

Yes, I will be in for anything in the greater toronto area, and hopefully we can arrange a meet and takeover one of the detroit area dragstrips one weekend day. I think Milan is insanely busy at the best of times, but the other one up north is pretty empty. Lapeer I think it’s called.

^I’ve always thought a map would be kinda cool on a forum. And I was actually thinking about how remote you were when I was posting. But on a smaller forum, it’d be cool to have a google map or something with different people shown within a 20mile radius etc if they chose. It’d just be nice to see who is near ya, or if ya take a trip, who ya might be near.

someone could do it on google maps and put pushpins on it. Then a screenprint of that and a link to it if guys want details of who is who etc.
There’s an apple and android app for that too eh. Google latitude. You log on, and update your location and it shows all the other friends you have on latitude with their location as well.

I’m in for one in the Detroit area… I am east of Cleveland OH so it is only a few hours to detroit… I would consider Toronto as well depending on what else is going on… The local track by me, Thompson, gets rented quite a bit and is fairly cheap so it could be a option as well… I think Tweetsesate said his brother rents Milan once a year so that would probably work… Still debating on driving to Atco this weekend but weather between here and there doesn’t look so good…

Plates are gonna come off of it though, it costs about $150/month to keep them on there.

I am down for a meet near Detroit or Ohio would be fine. I think Ohio is a good medium for all of us. It’s closer for Maddog in tennesee. Canada is a pain in the ass. That’s a trip and a half for everyone besides the Canadians.
